Alecto Carrow was proud of her work, it was like old times. The vandalism was nothing fancy, but it was still a thrill that didn't come often for her. The fear that some people had in their eyes made her smile. Alecto knew she wouldn't be recognized, she knew that she was at no risk lingering in the park. She was just another face in the crowd to the authority figures, and that's what made this all the more enjoyable.
Seated on a bench at the edge of the park she had a perfect view of the statue and the Aurors who were trying to restore it back to it's original state. Sharp, keen eyes remained trained on the aurors, as crimson painted lips were pulled into a perpetual smirk. To those that knew the old Alecto, the only thing that gave away her identity publicly was that twinkle in her dark gaze. It was a twinkle that only came during excitement. Twinkle that rarely showed itself in the past five years.
Five years seemed like a lifetime to Alecto. Five years and so much happened. Life changing things, her appearance was really just the tip of the iceberg. It was the result of a glacier of other things which all stemmed from the Dark Lord's death. The vandalism of the statue wasn't a joke, it was to remind those that even though voldemort might be dead, his values and morals still were strong. Alecto wasn't going to forget, she couldn't forget. She was loyal to the core and she planned on reminding the rest of the wizarding world that fear should not be erased.
Propping her elbows on the back of her bench, she arched her back slightly and yawned. Spending a night in the park was exhausting. The excitement and adrenaline were the only things keeping her eyes open at this point, yet she didn't want to leave. She wanted to see this through, and see the full result of her destruction. Tossing black hair out of her gave and finger traced along her sharp jaw line. She really couldn't get over how well her change worked. Even people who feared her years ago wanted to sit down and have tea with her, it was astounding. Of course, those witches and wizards who dabbled in the likes of Knockturn Alley knew her as Allison Karras, the owner of the giant spiders shoppe. Only Amycus knew Allison Karras was actually Alecto Carrow. Of course there were still the "mysterious similarities", her voice hadn't changed, nor had her laugh... those that typically heard her before the change were baffled as to why her voice sounded familiar but could never put their finger on why. Then, as mentioned before, there was that look in her eyes. Finally, not too much about her personality had changed. Still a bit nutters, only know instead of hell-bent on world domination, she was stuck on revenge.
