He'd written Julien before he left for the interview to see if he could get off early. If they interview went well, they could celebrate. If it didn't...well, it wouldn't be the first time, honestly, and he'd rather have Julien there before they were both ready to pass out, either way. He knew that Jules loved his job, was good at it - hell, they both lived off of the money it made him - but only seeing his boyfriend when he was picking him up, asleep, from wherever he'd passed out on his way in the door did get a little taxing after a while.

The interview went well, and Alfie wanted to celebrate because Longbottom made it sound like this was about to be the best, easiest job he'd ever sodding had. With the best pay, too. So Alfie headed home after the interview was over and jumped in the shower, ready to wait for Jules - see if he could swing getting home early - so they could do something.

	"Love you too," Alfie said immediately, an ingrained response now that didn't mean he didn't mean it to the bone every time he said it. He loved saying it, too. Meaning it. "But I said I'd take you out." He added, after kisses pressed back to Julien's shoulder, turning his head into to nuzzle there. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Julien squirmed softly, groaned a little comfortably. "I should take you out." he said, protesting lazily. "And now I can't move. Which is your fault, I should-" he paused to yawn. "-add." he smiled back at Alfie, shifting a little to get more comfortale, not wanting Alfie to pull out. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Alfie didn't have any intention of pulling away from Julien's body until he had too, and that would come soon enough. For a minute more he stayed where he was, and then he was soft and slipped and groaned, but finally rolled to his back beside Julien on the bed, to let him breathe.

"Out to celebrate," He said, but he didn't seem to have any inkling about getting dressed, or to his feet, either.

	Julien whimpered with a little protest as Alfie pulled out of him, turning immediately to fold himself against the side of Alfie's body like a closing hand, leg curled over one of Alfie's even as cold stickyness ran out of him uncomfortably. "I'm so proud of you." Julien added verbally, kissing Alfie's shoulder. "Really, I should b taking you out." (Reply to this) (Parent)
