WHO: Ronnie Kegg & Harold Dingle.
WHAT: A run in at the Potter statue unveiling.
WHEN: BACKDATED to Sunday afternoon during the statue unveiling.
WHERE: Memorial Park.
RATING: TBD.

Sundays, Merlin how she hated Sundays. She hated working Sundays in particular. They were typically extra nasty and annoying. Most wizarding criminals decided while the rest of the world rested, they were going to go out and cause more havoc. It also didn't help that the rowdy lush crowds were also out in the wee morning dawns staggering their way back to their homes after a night of drinking and pub hopping. After a rather eventful late evening which consisted of her chasing down a bunch of drunken wizards through a muggle neighborhood, all Ronnie wanted to do was go home and sleep until her 3rd shift started back up again. All the paperwork that came with chasing down wizards through a muggle neighborhood made her late to leave the Hit Wizard headquarters. Locking up her broom until her next shift, Ronnie dragged herself out of the building and started to head towards The Leaky Cauldron. It would be easier to cut through Diagon Alley and apparate from there to her home instead of risking muggles seeing her more than they all ready have that morning.

Entering into the Leaky, she was surprised to find it fairly empty. Passing by a table on her way to the back of the store hazel gaze caught sight of the Daily Prophet lying on the table with the headline announcing the unveiling of the Harry Potter statue. Clicking her tongue, she moved towards the back of the pub and pulled out her wand. Ronnie was still shocked that it had been five years since the battle at Hogwarts. She wasn't present at the battle, she evacuated with the majority of the other younger years. It was an act that she occasionally regretted through the rest of her years, but it wasn't something she lingered too long on. The battle of Hogwarts wasn't her fight, and she along with the majority of classmates felt they would be more help away from Hogwarts than sticking around. However, that didn't mean that Ronnie wouldn't go pay her respects at the unveiling, it was the least she could do for the fallen Housemate.

As Diagon Alley opened up to her, the streets were eerily empty. A few people were rushing down the alley and turning down the newer portion of Diagon alley. Taking her time to get to Memorial Alley, hands slipped into the pockets of her jeans. That was one thing Kegg enjoyed about her job, due to her having to work so closely to muggles, her uniform consisted of muggle clothing. Those robes made it a hindrance while chasing a criminal on broom. Faded and torn jeans hung off her hips, threatening to fall off all together. A white t-shirt hugged her statuesque frame, ending at her midriff and revealing a little bit of skin. Black hair cascaded down her back in ringlets of tight curls and waves. Eyes were alert and focused as she approached the park. It was crowded, enough to make an experienced Hit-witch like herself nervous. So many people packed into a tight location usually broke out into riots, yet the people at this crowd seemed fixated on the podium where Kingsley Shacklebolt stood along with a few other representatives of the Ministry.

Toeing along the edge of the crowd, Kegg didn't want to elbow her way through the crowd and she sure as hell didn't really want to be seen either - especially if Harold Dingle was there. She planned on making this stop as brief as possible, the last thing she wanted was to lose a bet to Harold Dingle. He would never let her live it down. As the crowd kept their attention on the podium, anxiously waiting for the statue to be revealed, Ronnie selected a shaded tree to linger near. The gasp from the crowd caught her attention as the sheet fell to reveal the statue. Applause echoed through the park as Ronnie just stared at the statue. Tilting her head to the side, lips curled into a confused sneer before scoffing. That looked NOTHING like Harry, she should know, she's seen him on more than one occasion, she grew up with her house idolizing the boy who lived. That statue looked nothing like him, squinting slightly, she finally decided that if she squinted and looked past the statue's right shoulder it looked a LITTLE like Harry Potter - but only a little.

Harold wanted the exact motions to occur. That he couldn't deny, even to himself no matter how much they bickered and agrued amongst each other on a daily bases. It wasn't something that he expected to follow through when the entire day started. Of course, he couldn't predict what would happen in his life, no matter how much he wanted it to. Maybe if he was better at accomplishing divination, but that wasn't something that mattered at the moment. The action that was setting forth what was, especially to him. Especially with that he was currently feeling. When these situations happened between the two of them, Kegg knew exactly what to do or touch upon him to kick in the adrenline on quickly and the yearning to increase to an incrediable amount. He was sure, without a doubt, that any guy would want to be his position, but he wouldn't trade it to be with any other woman for anything simply because it felt right.

As Veronica slid her body against his own, he felt her figure pressed up against him. Hands moving down her body as she did so, Harold had a few scattered thougths of taking her home for a bit of privacy. However, he knew hos much those images ran through his mind, she would never agree to it. There was a certain part of their "relationship" that was beyond their boarder and becoming more intimate was that point. Each time the surprise of becoming closer was at foot, it was better than the last. They were usually friendly during such moments, but they seemingly became hotter each time. It was enough for Harold to wish these rare occurances were more frequent.

Harold pulled her closer in a posessive way as she spoke of ending their moment with a simple shake of his head. That wasn't what he wanted. In fact, he wanted more of her and feeling her amazing body pressed up against him. "No, no, don't stop," he muttered against Kegg's ear, doing his best not to use a tone that teetered along begging. That was the last thing he wanted to do, show a sign of weakness of the sort. Maybe with another person, it would be perfectly fine, but with Veronica that would be unacceptable.

Just as it seemed as though they were finally about to feel their lips upon each other, Veronica's lip grazed along his own and followed up his cheek. It suddenly felt like denial mixed in with a bunch of teasing. The latter was an action that he didn't mind at all. Heck, they've done that for years dating back into their years within Hogwarts. It was being denied that he didn't enjoy, not even a little bit. As much as he didn't want their moment to be ruinned, it was something that had to be. They couldn't spend the entire day grinding upon each other without achieving anything further.

Harold trailed a few kisses upon her ear, before placing his hand upon her cheek, forcing the woman to look directly at him. Leaning his head close towards the woman, his lips ready to press on her own. Just as it seemed as though he was gonna take the free kiss to claim as his own, a grin spread across his facial features. "I don't want this to stop," he said in a whisper loud enough for Veronica to hear. "But I can't remember how much it costs for a minute." The words were vague, however, Harold was sure that she would pick up exactly what he meant, even if it took a second or two. His expression didn't show the twinge of reget upon it, as his lips pressed against her chin.
