They couldn't get wizarding things or go anywhere cool like Weasley Wizard Wheezes for their last minute supplies, but because they felt guilty about that - maybe - Alfie and Ellie's mum and dad had given them more muggle money than they usually would have, and so had their grandparents, and were letting them out into the Muggle world for shopping since they weren't allowed within a city block of Diagon Alley.

Muggle shopping was okay, though. Cooler trainers, and there were still a lot of last minute things like bags of sweets and... well, more bags of sweets that Alfie needed to buy. Getting his mates to come with was a last minute sort of idea, but then at least they'd get to spend some time together before they all had to go back to Hogwarts and start classes again. He stood up from his seat on the tube at the Victoria Station stop, waiting for the doors to open and then pulling Ellie and Audrey out of the train and toward the stairs up from the underground into the station proper.

He had no idea how they'd find Drew - though he figured they'd probably hear him coming long before they actually spotted him.

Audrey wound her way around and through the crowd, catching sight of Drew and grinning across the station. She raised her hand in greeting, then gave a happy little hop. Drew was always so exuberant, just being around him made her equal parts giggly and exhausted. "Drew!" Audrey grinned and waved again, glancing back to make sure she hadn't lost her other friends. "How are you? Did you get here alright? Were you waiting long?"

	Alfie let go of his sister and Audrey to rush across to greet Drew, impromptu hug quickly and then releasing him with a grin. "Making new friends on the train gets you kidnapped or molested or something, mate," he said, sounding a little like his mum. "Come on." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Drew waved at Audrey and didn't see Alfie coming at him until he was almost there, reaching out for a hug at the last minute and catching it deftly, squeezing back and being the last one to pull out of it. "What, you mean Gregor? Nah, he wouldn't hurt a fly, he's awesome!" he enthused, turning around to look for the foreign man he'd befriended only to find him gone. He pouted but allowed Alfie to lead him away, giving Ellie and Audrey the same boisterous hugs hello.

	"Gregor?" Ellie asked, her nose wrinkling at the name as she hugged Drew back. "Who is that?" She was excited for the chance to shop with her friends and maybe a bit too strung out on sugar. Having Drew around would only exponentially exaggerate her hyper state. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Drew bounced up and down even as Ellie was hugging him, narrowly managing to miss thwacking his head into her chin. "Oh! Gregor! He's awesome! He's-" Drew turned around, gestured vaguely, and then turned back when he saw that his few-minute friend had escaped... uhm... gone... had gone... "He's gone." he advised with a pout that lasted scant seconds. "YAY! Let's go SHOPPING!"
