Entry tags:!1997: 08, !incomplete, alfred cattermole, ellie cattermole

Who: Alfie and Ellie Cattermole
What: The first meeting of the Oliver Wood Fan Club?
Where: The Cattermole Family flat
When: Exactly five seconds after the owl comes from Oliver Wood.
Warnings: Glee.

Alfie was enjoying the journals a lot more than he thought he would - he hadn't even though about throwing it under his bed for a few days again. And now Oliver Wood was talking to him, and to his sister, and was sending him an autograph! He only expected a picture or something, but the parcel came and was huge and it took him a few seconds after reading the note before he was literally squealing in his room, and five seconds after that he was on a tear across the hall and bursting through his sisters' door.

"Merlin, Ellie, look what we got!"

"I know! I thought so too, but then this came!"

Alfie was too excited not to open the box and show her, taking everything out fast and handing her her signed poster and scarf too. "Look, he sent them for both of us!"

"Wow," Ellie whispered after taking the picture and scarf from Alfie. "That was so nice of him! I feel like we should send him something."

Ellie studied the poster a bit closer, "He's pretty cute too! Just like Braden."

Alfie wrinkled his nose. "What are we going to send to Oliver Wood? He' like famous and rich and stuff." Alfie carefully folded his scarf back into the box (which was totally his, and he wasn't sharing) and then looked at his own poster.

"I guess..." And as he looked... yeah. Oliver was sort of a cute bloke, he guessed.

"Think mum has a frame or something I can put this in?"

Ellie shrugged and climbed off her bed to throw the scarf over the back of an old chair that served mostly as a place to stack the clothes she didn't put away after he mother washed them. "I don't know. I bet he gets a lot of things from his fans. Drawings and probably letters."

"Probably. I wish Oliver knew about Maisie but it would probably be wrong to ask for another autograph and scarf. That's not very polite." She sighed and crossed her arms across her chest. "If mum doesn't have a frame, I think I do."

"Well, she can have my scarf?" Alfie didn't really wear them, even when he was supposed to, and he didn't want their youngest sister to feel left out either.

"You do? Can I have it?" He wasn't sure if he'd ever put something in a frame in his life, but he knew he wanted to frame this.

"I bet she would like that," Ellie nodded, feeling bad that she didn't get the chance to offer up her scarf first, because she certainly wasn't going to give up the actual autographed picture.

"It's nothing fancy. Just one of those cheap plastic ones. I had a picture of mum and dad in it but I see them every day so I don't really need a picture of them in there." It made sense to her. "I'll just keep mine put away in a safe spot until I can get another frame."
