Martha curled up in the lobby, wrapped her arms around her knees, and leaned her head back against the wall. "I," she announced, "am going to become a nun. A lesbian nun."

It was the only answer.

	He thought about that for a moment, then nodded. "I'm not a vampire, if you're worried about that." Another pause, then he added, "But I've not been entirely clean with you about other things.
