To the dashingly handsome Mr McCormack,
The chef who just opened that new gourmet restaurant in Kensington was at the station today for a talk show interview, and offered up two tickets to a five-course wine tasting dinner this weekend. Would you do me the honour of escorting me? We can dress up like posh wankers and pretend to taste the pear infusion in the cayenne-encrusted walnuts on the salmon with herb-marinated goat cheese, or whatever other haute cuisine nonsense they feed us. There are five glasses of extremely expensive wine involved; I need someone with me who can properly appreciate getting toasted on them for free. Let's celebrate your award nominations and my pay rise by pretending we know what's in a persillade.
