I just held this Kyle Chandler face and before I get into the meat of his bio, I wanted to throw him out here for possible story lines. I'm waffling between having him as a social worker/advocate for the Harlem Children's Zone or one of the borough's DAs. Either way, he's a mature, professional, a bit of a bleeding heart, originally from Texas but he's been in Manhattan for about 12 years. I'm debating on whether or not he has a child, but he's a widower (for over 12 years). He pretty much needs a whole lot of stuff - friends, co-workers, women in and out of his life, etc.

the photographer. [25 Nov 2011|11:00am]
Well hello, holiday survivors! After a little bit of brainstorming with [info]ahawtrey, I've finally decided to hold Adam Gregory's face as the photographer. But he's not just any ol' photographer, this guy's the wedding photographer all the ladies dream of. Especially after his business was mentioned in Glamour magazine which allowed him to move up a tier in the photog industry. His amazing and contemporary view on wedding photography has become all the rage and it helps that he doesn't charge an arm and a leg to be hired.

Andrew Burchell has become a name commonly used in the blogosphere and his portfolio is something often mentioned by wedding planners and event coordinators. I'd love to come into the community with a decent number of couples whose wedding he's shot. He's been in business for just over six years now but his business model hasn't changed since he started. He doesn't just sell his services, that's not why he's such a hot commodity, he sells the experience of working with him. He makes his couples feel loved and spoiled and is passionate about hearing their stories, sending them hand written reminders for shoot dates (he always tosses a free engagement session in with each wedding so the couples can get familiar with him and being behind a lens) and extending offers for lunches and dinners in order to build a friendly rapport with them. Being gay also happens to be a big selling point of his as most men tend not to feel threatened by him when their future-wives gravitate to his charm.

He's still close with a few of the couples he's shot over the years and many of them have used him for maternity sessions, family portraits, and even boudoir photos as surprises for their husbands or husbands-to-be. I'd also love a line with someone who could be his go-to second shooter for weddings. Maybe someone who picked up photography as a hobby, doesn't want to do it full-time, but loves working the weekend weddings with Andrew who has taken them under his wing to teach them everything he knows. They would be the ones who constantly reminded Andrew not to work so hard and maybe they've developed into best friends of sorts. An "aspiring director" line would also be awesome as Andrew is looking to expand his business into something in the vain of Iris & Light.

So happily (and even the not so happy) wedded couples, what'cha got for him?

Hello everybodeee! Forgive me if this is horrible but I'm using my phone since the WiFi on this train is horrible it won't work on my laptop. Anyway I want to introduce Sloane here since I plan to apply her tonight and wanted to see if she could get some lines. This is Sloane Ramsey Morrison with an original premade of "The Bohemian". Not sure if the mods had approved the premade yet, if they don't I'm going to have to think of something else.

Sloane is originally from Williamsburg, Brooklyn and has a large very unconventional family. Her one older brother [info]westr should be joining too. She is 24 and hetero-lifemate to [info]brini, they grew up together. Sloane does have a four year old daughter named Indiana after Sloane's childhood idol. Sloane has a number of different talents, she loves to draw and is constantly doodling on some surface. She loves playing the drums but occasionally can sit still enough to toy around on the piano and guitar. Her father is a former musician so being able to play an instrument is a normal thing for Sloane.

I'm going to give her one or two odd jobs while she is studying at Hunter college as an art history major. I'll just love some lines, the more random the better :)

Deleted my original entry here because, after some investigating, I found out that there is no female half to the high school sweethearts premade! So! That opens things up a lot for me to work with.

So, here we go! This is Max Rothschiller. Max is 25 years old, still in school (NYU specifically), studying child & adolescent psychology. He's originally from the area, born and raised. When he's not in school or studying his ass off, he's working at a local recreational center at the front desk. Signs people in, signs people out, plays Solitaire on the computer.

As far as his past goes, he started dating a girl his senior year of high school, and he was convinced that he was in love with her. After graduation, she was going to school out of state, and he was staying in New York. They tried to make the long distance thing work for awhile, but it was too hard and they broke up about three months into the new school year. Long story short, she came back into town this past year and he was seeing someone else. The sparks were still there between them, but he didn't want to be that guy. Unfortunately for the girl he'd been seeing, he couldn't deny the feelings he still had for his high school sweetheart, and recently (within the past three months), they got back together and started dating again.

So I'm game for any kinds of lines! Friends, family, ex-girlfriend(s), current girlfriend... whatever!

Hi everyone! I figured now that I actually have a chance to breathe, sit down, and flesh things out, I figure I should probably put a little plea up in here to get some more ideas rolling. The gist so far:

This here is Lucinda Roux, though please feel free to not torture her and just call her Luce. She's a 23 year old socialite whose parents divorced when she was just a little girl. Luce is very much in love with the idea of love itself. Mostly, I'm thinking, because her parents didn't have that together and so she's made it her life goal to fall madly in love with someone, a very happily-ever-after type of ending. Unfortunately, she has a bad habit of either growing bored or pushing her ideals too far, too fast onto the men she dates; her premade is the unlucky in love. Personality wise, she's very frisky, fun loving, silly, and spacey. Her biggest flaw is that she can be rather naive with love, but then she'll also turn around and shock you with her maturity in other areas. Very much EXTREME when it comes to her moods, too. It's either a really fabulous day for her, or she's miserable and sobbing. Although she's still undecided with just about everything in life, she does know that she wants to be someone - whatever that means. With her parents very established in the world - her mother is heir to a popular hotel/casino in Las Vegas and her father is a creative director for a leading advertising agency - Luce has grown up in a very superficial, plastic world. And yet, she still has a down to earth quality about her that isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. That being said! The girl makes a hell of a babysitter, what with her being so childish still in her own way, and she can actually say it's one of her favorite ways to spend time; nothing beats playing a part like the cool big sister to children she isn't actually related to.

As far as lines go, she has nothing major taken, but what I do have filled is pretty awesome and should be a ton of fun. It would be really great to get a few more friends in the mix, a slew of exes considering she can't figure relationships out, maybe a girl or two who hates her for being trashy, extended family, a boy or seven for her to crush over and be a little minx around. Basically, anything and everything goes. I'm extremely laid back, so don't feel shy!
