"My avatar doesn't look anything like me," Ganesh warned JT as he held the holoband in his finger. "So don't be surprised when you jack in, if you see someone who's a lot... taller."

He'd modeled himself off what he'd thought Americans would find attractive. Tall, blond hair, blue eyes, pale skin... and absolutely nothing like himself. He frowned as he thought about that. It still didn't quite work, even with all the hours of practice he'd put in since he'd gone in with Matt.

With his comment, "See you in a minute," he slipped the band over his eyes, white light flooding towards him suddenly until he reached the end of the tunnel and found himself in the small, dark room in which he'd last jacked in. As he waited, he practiced his walk, stepping casually back and forth, barely keeping from tripping over his own muscles.

JT walks up to the door of their load space and says, "Club district, subsearch, um... Political influence? Yeah, sure." He shrugs at Genesh and opens the door, going through first. The adjouring room is filled with doors and corridors, usually with an icon or two above them showing what the represent. Often there are country or providence flags, but some group icons show up too. A few of the more specialized clubs have just words ("People for the equal rights of sentient dogs" for example). " Anything look promising to you?"

JT lightly pushed Genesh into the room. The bouncer checker them over and then ran a scan on their avatars, Alec must have done his job, cause they were waved in. JT ducked his head in thanks and passed through the curtin, the music somehow getting even louder. He stepped to the side to let Genesh step up beside him. Oops, we probably should have went over our fake names he randomly thought.

His face scrunched up in thought, JT replied, "Hmm, not sure, most clubs I go to are focused on dancing and such. Let's wonder a bit?" He grabs Genesh's hand so they can keep together and takes off down the steps into the main floor. The place was mostly dark, there are some flashing lights, but not enough to really give a good glance at the place. He was fairly sure the code here would stop him from adjusting the look of the room, at least until he was given a membership code. The nice thing about the V world was one could still get a drink and the haloband would cause a similar effect. He glances around the crowd on the way to the bar, pulling Genesh along.

	Ganesh was watching the people as JT led him. There were some of them dancing but many of them were gathered around a table arguing about something. "Do you see any jokers?" He asked in a low tone. "Bollocks, does anyone come into these places as a joker?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Yes." He nodded though his eyes were wary. The pair of them walked over to the table, though Ganesh was careful not to come so close that it was obvious. "Political rallies," one was saying. 	Ganesh caught JT's action and stepped in a little closer. "I don't fucking know," the man shot back. "Maybe we don't rally. Maybe we blow up the Feds. We can't let them keep pushing us down." 	The girl gestured back wildly, "I'm not saying let them keep subjugating us! Of course not. But a rally isn't the way to go, we going to have a bake sale to fund it too?"
