"My avatar doesn't look anything like me," Ganesh warned JT as he held the holoband in his finger. "So don't be surprised when you jack in, if you see someone who's a lot... taller."

He'd modeled himself off what he'd thought Americans would find attractive. Tall, blond hair, blue eyes, pale skin... and absolutely nothing like himself. He frowned as he thought about that. It still didn't quite work, even with all the hours of practice he'd put in since he'd gone in with Matt.

With his comment, "See you in a minute," he slipped the band over his eyes, white light flooding towards him suddenly until he reached the end of the tunnel and found himself in the small, dark room in which he'd last jacked in. As he waited, he practiced his walk, stepping casually back and forth, barely keeping from tripping over his own muscles.

JT smirked at Ganesh's comment, he knew how much fun it was to change one's look online, a joy he hasn't given up yet. He jacked in shortly after his companion, appearing as a typical anime style boy, teal and purple spiked hair that can move on it's own, clothes made of mostly ribbon and leather and staylized facial features. He might have let Alec set up the details, but his kown avatar crafting was more than adaquet. He quickly flipped through the two other forms he had set up, a smaller chibi form with wings, and then a more normal Asian male, still with the funky hair, but better able to fit in to more crowds. He watched for approval or shock while doing this.

	Ganesh was clearly not prepared for the sudden deluge of forms. He blinked, wide-eyed, at the small form with wings, then tilted his head at the Asian form. That, at least, was familiar. "Ah- how do you pick?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

"Yes, PPW with him." He wasn't going to spell that out. "Sometimes, Resident Evil when I'm stressed out." Ganesh shrugged, feeling more and more ridiculous with every word. "It's- ah- not all that bloody important."

He was changing his outfit. Ganesh glanced down at his own- he hadn't thought to do that at all. Tugging at his t-shirt, he said, "So, where do you want to start? You seem to know a bit about this."

	"Generally I per load them," JT says, picking an outfit and stepping from the mirror, "but I think we can do some cosmetic stuff on the fly. 	"Probably just a headache," Ganesh grinned. He reached out and gingerly tapped the air twice with his thumb, then moved it in a swift series of strokes that he knew by heart. JT shrugged, "Depends on where we are going. If we want to stay kinda low key, then we should fit in. So if you were planning on hitting a fetish bar, you'd probably stand out. If the plan is just a random club, then you'd be fine. Though I'd suggest a teal colored shirt, looks better with your new skin tone." He grins, and then quickly switches to a more serious face, "Wait, do we have a plan?"

"Not exactly," Ganesh admitted. "I thought that I had one but when Matt and I went into the club, it was nothing that I imagined." His eyes had gone slightly wide as he switched his shirt, glancing uneasily at the color. It was bright.

"We just need to see if we can figure out where any of these hate groups are. I thought they might speak to us on the internet better than they might in person." He shrugged. "I know that we're not jokers but I'm not good with keeping my temper around that sort."

JT raised one eyebrow, "What world do you live in? Of course, they are. This much excitement would force most people to immediately choose a side, nat or WIld Card. And while most people wouldn't actually act on their fear in the real world, we are not in the real world now. No consequences and total anonymity. I'm more worried about us being able to stomach their attitudes and try and fit in."
