Clicking your heels won't work...((Open!! BTW!))
Abraham wasn't a fan of running from zombies. Not many people were. He also wasn't a fan of avoiding bullets. Again, this is an opinion with which many could easily agree. The zombies he could at least forgive for being dead and controlled magically. The bullets weren't so easy to shrug off as they were being released by his best friend.
"Augh! I am right here!" he finally shouted after the heat of one passed by his leg. He, too, was shooting the dead corpses in front of them. Though he, honestly was doing a much cleaner job of it.
"Sorry," a rough voice called back. "You shouldn't stand so close to them!" The large, red man shot at another group further away from Abe.
"Tell that to the swarming dead!" he replied hotly. "Oh, please don't get so close to me, my friend might shoot me!"
Another hot bullet came close. That one was on purpose, Abe could sense it!
"Oops. Guess you need to ask nicer!" Hellboy yelled back.
Oh if Abe could roll his eyes. Instead, he shook his head and held out a bare hand, honing in on a specific energy.
They were in Kansas City, Missouri fighting a mob of living dead controlled by a magical being of, yet, unknown origin. Independent from the B.P.R.D. now, they were using hand-me-downs and lower quality weaponry than either was used to.
"It's close, now. Pretty powerful. Nothing we haven't taken down before, but not a cake walk," he said pushing aside a rotting hand and shooting the zombie it belonged to in the head with barely a glance.
"Show off," Hellboy muttered.
Abraham was comfortably smug until everything...changed. His senses were interrupted, all of them, by the immediate switch in environment. He still held his gun, still had his tact vest on, he still smelled rotting corpse (a stench probably held on the cloth of his vest) but he was suddenly on a sidewalk. It was not dark and wooded but bright, midday and paved. He looked around him. People were staring.
"I don't think I'm in Kansas anymore," he said lightly, looking around.
