Abe was used to hiding. He liked hiding. He wasn't like Hellboy. He didn't enjoy being out in public. It was, at times, exhausting to explain himself over and over again.
He started to debate, but Dean was onto the next thing. He was just leaving him there! What on earth--or wherever he was--was he supposed to do, now? Explore, he supposed. All he really wanted to do was grab a book and shove himself into the first available bathtub.
"Uh...oh...bu--" he started as the other man turned away.
Oddly enough, he felt more vulnerable that his challenger was leaving than he had when he was challenged.
