Know what's good for a fairy hangover? (Eric)
The crone felt...pretty damn good. Or she had as she slipped out of the lab in one of the blue boy's t-shirts. It looked like an awkward dress, and the crone didn't seem to mind that it wasn't exactly the most decent thing she could wear walking about town. She didn't bother changing or showering as she headed to her possible home away from cabin. She knew he'd be in.

On her way she paused as she caught a headline of newspaper as someone walked by. She blinked, and with little effort, she had the paper and was quickly walking away, reading. A brow rose. So, he was going to answer questions. Every question answered. She actually smiled, but not from happiness.

The crone was not prepared for what greeted her as she entered the vampire's now unnecessary hideaway. The place looked like someone had been dancing, or trying to. There were clothes on the floor, discarded along the way to the...bed. And there was a very large male on the bed who looked like he had had a rough time of it before losing hold on the living world. Somewhere among the tangled sheets and vampire limbs there was a sweater; the crone had no idea she was sitting on it as she settled on the bed to stare at him.

Her hands rested on her knees; her eyes moved over his body. It was rare she took time to just take him in like this. Him or anyone else for that matter. She could and would wait for him to waken. They needed to talk...about many things. So there she sat on a fairy's sweater, wearing a mutant's shirt, all upon the vampire's bed.

"Apparently." Eric looked at the sweater again, silently wishing he could have it back, but not wanting to look like it was a weakness, or make Baba angry. "Her smell was intoxicating." He said, remembering it. "But there was something else. She had some dust that she expelled from her body. I have no idea what it was made of, but it amplified everything I was feeling about her."

He sat up finally, dragging his body toward the wall the bed sat against, not caring about his nudity one bit. "But she's alive. The fact that I have the sweater and it's not covered in blood is a testament to that."

Eric looked at the woman on the bed with him. He could feel her slight irritation and knew that she didn't understand. He'd never told her. He'd never honestly thought about it. Only the once had he smelled fairy since he'd been here, and it had been on somebody else, not a part of them.

"Their blood is very attractive to us, and highly addictive. It's a wonder that I didn't rip into her. I think the dust might have prevented it, though. I wanted to roll in her clothing." He said the last with a little wonder in his voice. "Fairies generally stay away from vampires entirely. We're a danger to them. We kill them. We can't help ourselves once we get the scent of them in us, we need to have more."

Eric realized that there was another smell in the room that didn't belong to either of them. He finally looked Baba over and saw that she wasn't in what would be considered actual clothes.

"You saw Hank?" He had a feeling that it had been much more than that.

"I see." The crone turned the sweater over and over, trying to decide what should be done with it. What should be done to the girl and Eric. "I don't know if you should have it back." It wasn't that she had read his mind, but she could feel his desire for it. Her eyes lifted to look at him; the blood had bonded them after all. Her brow rose slightly almost as if challenging him to say he didn't want it.

"Dust. It may be the type of fairy she is. Damned oversized Tinkerbell. Though I doubt she needs anyone to believe in her or clap to keep her from going out." There was a soft hmph, and she tossed the thing at him. "For a creature who should be deadly and dangerous, you have interesting and ridiculous weaknesses." She wasn't speaking of him in particular, and she was only slightly irritated. He had a liability, and he'd met a true fairy whose power didn't come from other people's belief in her. Though, knowing the girl was indeed of the fair folk, even if only partially could be useful.

Then again, the winged girl wasn't the only liability. "I saw your innocent." The smile grew cruel for only a moment as she slid from the bed to see exactly what damage had been done and to be on the move. "She was so very certain that I assumed incorrectly about something. I'm sure she'll speak to you on it. That perhaps you told me there was something untoward happening between you. To ask how I could imagine you and she may act in some lewd way. I warned her you would ruin her in such a way that would take her power from her. You will if she keeps her relations with you."

She picked up a pair of pants and held them up as if she were looking for something. She turned them this way and that, as she had the sweater.

"You will break her heart eventually. And break your promise to her. That you will not harm her." She tsked softly as she dropped the pants where she found them. She looked at him, standing many feet away.

"I saw him as well, yes." She finally answered his question.

Eric didn't say he didn't want it. Because he did. He wanted it very much. "I agree." He didn't particularly like that he could be so motivated toward strange things when it came to the fairy, but he was also glad that he hadn't killed the girl. Not just because that would mean one less fairy in the world.

He caught the sweater and shoved it under the closest pillow. He didn't want to deal with it right now. Later, he might put it someplace safe. Maybe in a plastic bag to preserve it's smell. Right now, he didn't even want to look at it.

"She doesn't know." Eric shook his head. "I haven't spoken to her since we had our chat and figured out the problem with her. I haven't had a chance to tell her. I ran into the fairy first."

Baba was moving around the room, looking at his clothing. He wondered what she would find, if anything. He was pretty sure that there wasn't any visual trace of the fairy anywhere.

"Not in the way that I promised her." He smiled. "I promised her no physical harm would come to her and that I would not glamour her again. That is the promise that I will keep."

Which meant, of course, that he couldn't kill Beauty and have this mess over with. Even if he hadn't known that killing her wouldn't solve the problem, he couldn't have. But since his talk with Baba, the idea had slipped from his mind completely. Mostly.

He shook his head, still smiling. "I still have a hard time anybody is that innocent. But she is."

Eric didn't move from his spot on the bed, but he was very eager to hear what had gone on with the blue boy. "I take it that more happened than just talking." He gestured to her oversized shirt dress. "Please, do tell." It wasn't a snarky comment at all. Eric very much wanted to know what happened between the pair.

"No, Eric. She's not. Under educated. Ignorant, but there is no one that 'innocent.' She still feels desires, whether she can name them or accept them. For a creature such as she, breaking her heart might as well be physical." The crone's hand lifted and waved away the subject.

"I will admit, I never thought I might need to protect you from yourself." She shook her head slightly, moving back to him. There was a hint of smile on her lips with the comment. Along the way she grabbed the paper she had stolen and tossed it for him to read the article that had caught her attention.

"Although, you may not wish to associate with me once that damned fool starts talking. It is possible he will start a witch hunt." She settled on the bed again, just out of reach. "Who knows what might happen." Her eyes widened, as did her smile.

"Mm, my darling blue boy." She finally came back to the topic of interest. Her hands slid over the shirt and her body under it. "He purrs. I knew he did, but this..you can feel it all the way through your body, even more when he's inside you. And around you..." She sighed softly, smiling almost wistfully.

"He's eager, too." She laughed softly. "Very eager. I had nothing to wear home afterward."

Eric didn't completely agree with Baba that Beauty was not innocent. He did agree, however, that if her heart got broken, there might be physical repercussions.

He looked the paper over, the article was small, but it said a lot. Learning about what the City was, what it wanted, that was something that he hadn't thought of the entire time he'd been here. But to know that he could find out that sort of information, he was already planning to attend.

"It will be an adventure, whatever happens." He folded the paper and tossed it far enough so it landed on the floor instead of the bed. They would deal with that issue when it arose.

His eyes followed the movement of Baba's hands, and he imagined the blue fur in place of the pink flesh. He was sad he had missed out on witnessing the act for himself, or being a part of it. She was so very pleased, and he liked the look on her face.

Forgetting about the way that his head felt, Eric moved across the bed toward her, placing his face close to the shirt and inhaling the mingled scents of her, Henry, and what had occurred between them. He could not even get a mental picture of what had gone on, which was a shame, but he could smell the desire.

He moved his face closer to hers and placed his lips at her neck. He could smell Hank here, too. A quick lick, and Eric discovered that he could taste the beast as well. This did not stop him, but rather urge him on.

"You say that as a Viking and an old thing in search of entertainment." The crone's lips twitched slightly at his comment - the adventure that would come. She watched him, but soon closed her eyes to think of the blue boy and what they'd done together.

She felt the Viking close by, rather than saw him. Her hands continued to move before coming to rest between her thighs. Nothing inappropriate happened then, other than the lack of undergarments. She felt him move from one place to another, a soft gasp at the touch of his lips. A slight shiver at the lick.

"I may have a few scratches. I think he even bit me." Her voice held a tiny pout, but she knew that there would be marks for the Viking to discover should he move the shirt. Her back, hips, thighs, breasts, and shoulders would have telltale scratches, claws. Perhaps a few other places. There were definite signs where she'd been bitten by something more feral than a human, even a vampire. The only reason she was even able to move was that she shared blood with a vampire. That and she was a Fable, a powerful one.

"He could probably track me now. I wonder if he will." Her eyes opened. "Then again, he could before if he really wanted. He knew my scent." Her little gift, the blue boy had kept it after all.

Eric moved his hands under the fabric of the shirt and lifted it from her, to see. To see her flesh and the marks that may have been left behind by claws and teeth. He wanted to see her body marked in ways that he couldn't, because he didn't have the same teeth and he didn't have the claws.

He kissed the parts of her that were scratched, and licked where he saw bites, trying to taste the boy who had left them. He was listening to her as he moved. Taking in her words and thinking that he would like to watch Henry track her. To see the boy more feral than he had allowed himself to be in their previous encounters.

"Do you think you were his first?" His own fangs had long since shown themselves, from the idea of what Baba and the blue boy had done together.

The crone bit down on a gasp or two. He wouldn't win his way out of her slight irritation quite yet. Though the attentions to the marks weren't hurting. She watched him absently, her hands moving from her body to his.

"Probably." She leaned over when his ear was close and nipped. "He likes it a little rough. Being bitten." Her head bent a little further, so that she could bite his shoulder hard. She knew she could break skin if she wanted, but not yet. "Scratched. His fur is good for holding on to. And his strength." She nearly moaned at the thought of it.

Slowly she stood, using him to steady herself. She stood, looking down at the Viking, her Viking. She turned slowly around, letting him see that every bit of her had some small mark that she'd been with a creature who was no small wilting flower of a boy.

"There was no finesse. It will come. The beautiful blue boy has such potential." She turned quickly and squatted, now eye to eye with the vampire. Her eyes were shining from the imagined possibilities. "He is so very agile, so very strong. He can hang from the ceiling by his toes. Imagine what could be done with that. There was at least one time he held me with his feet while he had his way. He tasted every inch of me. He will have to learn it is not all about him, but for now, it was glorious to let him do as he pleased. To feel the power behind the need and hunger."

Eric didn't want to let her move away, but didn't force her to stay. And when she stood, he appreciated the view of what he was seeing. Not only her body, but the marks on it. Hank had been very thorough.

He would never have imagined the boy would have done something like this. From his own encounters, Henry had seemed very timid in this particular area. Not just because he'd never had an experience before, but because it was the way he was. He would have figured there would have been softness, gentleness, not this.

He was happy to know that he was wrong.

When she was back near the bed, Eric moved forward again, pressing Baba back into the sheets. He wanted to explore further and know more. His headache and the fairy were almost entirely forgotten.

"Everyone thinks it's all about them the first few times." The selfishness often did fade, but never completely went away. He'd had many years to see that.

Eric's tongue found more bites, ones that had been hidden from her until she'd stood, and his fingers found a bruise that he rubbed softly.

The crone hissed softly as he found a spot to play with, but she didn't bat him away. She let the Viking do as he wanted; it wasn't the same as it'd been with Henry. No, Eric's touch and present was meant to bring her pleasure as much as himself. She relaxed as much she could, enjoying his attentions.

"Mmm, true. As I said, he will learn." One hand petted at his skin and hair, as she stared up at the ceiling. "I mentioned that the three of us could enjoy ourselves; he never said 'no.'" She sat up enough to find his eyes. She knew she wanted to see his expression at that announcement.

"He didn't fight, or speak against it." She sighed as she remembered something. "That reminds me...."

Eric couldn't, and wouldn't have anyway, hide his surprise at that statement. The smile on his face was amazed and large. Him and Henry and Baba all together, all at once. He didn't even come close to disliking the image that formed in his mind. Eric wondered if she would ever be able to convince Hank to do it.

He moved so that he was directly over her and she could look at him easily. His flesh laid against hers and he could feel her warmth. Every place her body touched his, his skin began to leech away the heat that she created of her own accord.

"What is that? What are you reminded of?"

The Viking's weight did nothing to relieve the aggravation that had come from something she should have mentioned prior to their play. She shook her head slightly, sighing.

"The ones Henry has fallen in with. The damned heroes that took the great ape down from the building, saving some woman." The crone did pay attention to what happened in the City. "He is one of them, and apparently you have had dealings with more than one of them? 'The League' he calls them. They are looking to deal with you." Her hand lifted to comb her fingers through his hair, before curling to give the blondness a soft yank.

"You are in their radar?" Her face screwed up a little as that didn't sound like the correct phrase somehow. "In their sights." She shook her head again.

"I will be forced to avenge you if they do something to you. We are bonded by blood." Her voice was showed her two minds on it. She was slightly annoyed that he had put her in this position, that her bond with him did this, but she would not ask it to be different. She wasn't demanding a release from her duty to him. She wasn't even suggesting it. The leg wrapped about his hip would say that she had no intention of severing the ties that bound them.

Eric was still smiling as she spoke. It didn't anger him that these people were so bent on getting to him. It actually a little amusing. They were going to bring him down. He shook his head.

"Apparently. It's been mentioned to me by more than one, and I have had to guess that they're all in league with each other. No pun intended."

He sighed. "I am some huge threat to them, and I have attacked many of them despite the fact that I am not the one who started the fights."

Eric could see that she was bothered by this, though. The whole idea of it. That made him unhappy. He didn't really think that any of them would act on what they were saying. Not if they were the ones he thought they were and what had already happened between them.

"I will not let them do me harm."

The crone shook her head slightly, only a small smile on her lips. She looked up at him, her hands playing over his jaw and neck, up to his hair and down to his shoulders.

"You are not invincible, Viking. You died once, you could die again." She lifted up slightly, pressing her lips to his.

"I wish the boy would see that you are not the threat he imagines. Perhaps he has." She smiled softly.

"He does not anger as quickly when you are mentioned. Perhaps he will see that you wish to help him, even if you are a little crude about it." Her leg squeezed him, and it was soon joined by her other leg, capturing him, pulling him closer.

"But, I will protect you where I can." Her arms slid about his neck and shoulders to pull him down, to hold him close to her. Her lips pressed to his jaw, his ear, his neck. She was growing to expect this surge of feeling she felt for him at tines; caring for her charge as she led him or her along a path was only barely acceptable. This was not that feeling. It was one that spoke of an equality and a belonging; even as the Adversary's sorceress, she did not feel such. Before the Viking had come, when she had the City's power to do as she pleased, it still was not this. She steeled herself for his reaction, knowing he'd feel it.

She tried to focus the discussion before she became so protective of and invested in him. True, she was always invested in the vampire, but the investment went beyond use and opportunity. They had been enjoying themselves after all.

"I haven't died in over a thousand years." Eric was grinning while he kissed her. He understood where the protective feeling was coming from, because he felt it too. Not through the bond, though he felt it that way as well. There was his own need to make sure that she was safe and came back to him after she'd been out to play. He might have made light of her words, that she would do great harm to anybody who was a direct threat to his life, but he knew that she meant it. Because he would have said the same thing to her, if the situation had been reversed.

"Maybe I'll have to pay him another visit. It's been a while." He licked at the corner of her mouth, pressing his body against hers as he did so.

Eric had no idea what another meeting with Hank might be like. Each time had been so very different, only with irritation as a familiar seasoning. Irritation Eric could handle.

There was a soft chiding glare to his teasing words, but she felt her concern returned in its way. She sighed softly as his being close was working to push, almost literally, those annoying thoughts away.

"Mmm?" She nipped at him before kissing his cheek. "You go to warn him not to touch what's yours, Viking?" She doubted that would be the case, and she didn't mind. She felt that should the vampire make such a threat, he would be doing so to get a reaction from the blue boy and nothing more. The boy was not that sort of threat. Of course, if he continued to rip her skin and mark her, the vampire may have to show him how to do it and where so that she didn't have to worry about healing.

Her nails raked harshly across his back. "Or perhaps you are jealous and want marks of your own?" She laughed at the thought, but there was a desire sliding through it. She did wonder if the boy would mark the vampire the same, and she gave a soft ha as she realized what that would mean if the boy did.

"Oh, wouldn't that be rich?" She pulled his head back so that she could kiss his lips and look in his eyes. "The boy tastes your blood." For a brief moment, she considered getting the blue boy hooked to the blood. No, she wouldn't risk Eric's blood being used in some way once it was out of his body, and she knew that Eric didn't care for the use of vampire blood as a drug.

"I might warn him." Eric nodded, pressing his face into her neck and biting, though not too hard, not yet. Soon. "Warn him that the next time he should be less selfish."

He was unsure that - if he could even manage the situation - Hank would be quite as dominating toward him as he had toward her. Eric was not the kind to take a passive position, not for just anyone.

"I wonder what vampire blood would do for blue fur." Human women tended to tell him that their hair got more lush, softer, shinier.

Not so carefully, but very purposefully, Eric's fang traced the edge of a bite mark. He liked that she hadn't showered before coming here, that he could still taste the other man's mouth.

There was a slight hold in breath, but the bite was just a tease. The crone tilted her head forward to bite his shoulder; others may see it as a punishment, but for Eric?

"I do wonder." She stretched, pressing her neck into those fangs before relaxing again. Her feet and hands moved against his skin, just touching for a moment. She could leave his back marked if she wanted, or at least for a short time. She could make him bleed, but for now her fingers were those of a young sweet woman.

"His rage, do you wish to feel it?" She sighed softly, shivering beneath him. And how the vampire might feel that rage made her shudder. She doubted he's let the boy truly use him, but there would still be some rage, some animal to see and feel.

Eric nipped again, at her shoulder. This time, he drew a small drop of blood. He let it roll across the skin before he followed the trail with his tongue.

"I'm not against angry sex." He purred it into her ear. He had to wonder what kind of damage Hank could inflict on him now. Previously he'd been strong, but what Eric had seen when he'd found the overturned hotdog cart had been beyond what had been displayed on the roof. Plus, now there were fangs and claws.

"There might be actual blood loss." He mused. "I might come back to you in need of replenishment. A chance that perhaps I couldn't heal it all before finding you again. Then you would get to look and study, and you would get to smell him all over my flesh."

The crone turned her head to watch as much as she could, then laughed. Of course, he didn't. He'd feel the soft pricking of the more crone like nails, claws almost. Nothing compared to the blue boy's, but they did what she wanted. For now they just pressed into his skin.

"I would like to study, press my fingers into the marks, taste your pain." The last word was softly moaned, as it wasn't a pain that she needed to return to someone else. The nails pulled across his back and over his neck.

"My sense of smell isn't like yours, but I could feel him. Feel the power between you..." She held him closer, wrapping herself more around him. She would want him to bite soon, to taste her. He had tasted the first blood; he'd drink soon. Oh, she hoped soon.

Eric could feel her wants, he knew what she desired him to do. He only kept from doing it as a playful tease, but the taste of blood had indeed been the breaking point. He had denied himself so much recently. He didn't want to deny himself further.

When his lips found the delicate curve where he neck and shoulder connected, he bit. A real bite, this time. Immediately the hot blood was in his mouth.

With every exchange, they grew closer, him and Baba Yaga. It was a thought that didn't bring him any pause, that she should feel what he did and vice versa. He actually enjoyed sharing his life with her, letting her in as he did.

When he finally unlatched himself from her, Eric moved to kiss her lips, so that she might taste her own blood.

She cried out, nails digging and breaking skin. He'd heal quickly enough, faster now that he'd had her blood, not just a taste. The pleasure of it was only more so as she felt what he felt. At first it had scared her; she'd never been part of something, shared herself so willingly. There was always something hidden, even when she told the truth, but not with him.

Her fingers were in his hair, smearing what little blood was on them there. The kiss was taken and returned almost greedily. She was not one to want her bloodshed without reason, good reason, yet with him, she often found that she relished it.

It amused her to think for a moment on how often the sheets were changed on the bed. The thought was fleeting as there were more interesting ones to consider. Such as where she might take his blood.
