A roof over her head, was that asking too much? (Eric)
Watching Hannibal Lecter, the boy who would be monster, work was very interesting. The sorceress helped here and there with the cutting, but for the most part, she watched and aided in the more mystical ways. It wasn't that she was abject to getting in the thick of it, getting her hands dirty, but she liked to watch people work when they enjoyed it. The boy had a natural talent, and he wanted to learn. He was naturally curious, inquisitive, which called to something deep within Baba. He wasn't finished growing, and he thankfully recognized this. He didn't feel the same as Dexter, but he would prove to be entertaining and enlightening all the same. He'd satisfy that need within perhaps.
The City was now free of two of its undesirable children. There were many more, and Baba was considering giving the young man more to play with. She could probably find them with little work, but for now, she'd let him think on what they had done together.
Her cabin was behaving itself, and she wasn't of the mind to use it for housing that night. But, she had yet to procure a new place to sleep. There were prospects in those few who were still walking in the Park as the night came rolling in. So, she supposed she could take one of them, yet she wanted something of interest. At the moment, the Park wasn't offering much.
