Welcome to the Neighborhood! (open)
Elle didn't know how she got here and where here was but that didn't make her freak out like it might have made other people freak out. Sure, she didn't know where daddy was, and the company's door had closed behind her and freaking disappeared. But that was no cause to panic. She just needed to find the way out of here, wherever here was. Maybe she was trapped in someones mind. Yeah, someone had that ability, she'd read that on a file. It could be, but there were a ton of people here. A ton of people. Elle stood there watching as the milled around like everyday normal people. This wasn't a nightmare or anything strange like that. Elle started off to look for the answer to where she was. Coming across a paper on the crowd she picked it up.
The City.
What city?
It didn't say what city. Just the City. Boy were they full of themselves! The City. Really, there were tons of cities in the world. None of them were all that great. Well, Paris was nice. City of lights. She liked that. But really totally full of it. What was she suppose to do. Elle looked around for awhile, down streets and up others. She kept finding herself at the very same corner. It was a relatively nice apartment building, kind of reminded her of a building she saw in New York. She'd never lived outside the company and when she closed her eyes and pretended she could imagine what it was like to have her own apartment.
"Ms. Bishop?"
Elle was caught off guard by her own name being said so she pulled out her gun and pointed it in the direction of the voice. It was just some man holding a key in one hand and some mail in the other. "What do you want? How do you know my name?"
"I-I'm just trying to give you the key to your apartment."
"My what?"
"Your apartment. I-I'll just leave it here." He dropped the key and took off down the street. Elle blinked and put her gun away. She bent down and picked up the key, it was attached to a keyring. Elle looked them both over and noticed the name on the keyring matched the apartment building she was facing now...
She had an apartment?! Awesome! She opeed her cellphone and tried to get some kind of responce from it. Huh. No service. Daddy needed to know about this City, and it's giving of things. Elle poked the phone a few times with her finger, sending a litle blue spark at it until it finally gave out a hiss. Great. Now she had an apartment and a broken cell phone. Elle tossed the phone in the air, pointed her index finger at it, and used her thumb like a trigger. As if she were shooting, a small spark of blue lighning shot out of her finger and right at the phone. It exploded in midair. Elle shrugged her shoulders.
Well. Least that still worked.
