Hey everyone! Some of you already know this, but I am presently in the hospital, 36 weeks pregnant, with mild preeclampsia. I'm feeling okay, but my blood pressure keeps jumping around, so they're making me stay here and keeping a closer eye on me. If all goes well, they'll be inducing me at 37 weeks, on April 14th. Might be earlier if my blood pressure doesn't stabilize.

So for now, I'm still here, still planning to be active (because what else am I gonna do in the hospital?), but I'll let you all know when I deliver my little Eileen Cornelia. Who, incidentally, is in absolute perfect health right now.

Fae: I don't think Steve ever, ever once shined Bucky's shoes.

Dyan: He might have, back in 1940, when Bucky was going to job interviews.

Fae: Nope! Bucky made certain that he got to them before Steve could. Sometimes he didn't even take them off his feet when he got home.

... Steve might have taken out the trash, though.


Dyan: Bucky might have worried that the harsh smell might trigger Steve's asthma.

Fae: Yep. I can see Bucky going to his room, shutting the door, opening a window (even in winter) and taking care of that chore, all the whole cursing himself for ever even jokingly mentioned it to that earnest kid in the other room.

Dyan: Steve learned to cook first. But I think Bucky was better at it. Steve made better sandwiches, though.

Fae: Bucky especially liked Steve's sandwiches. He always swore the lettuce was better when Steve made sandwiches. Even if Steve insisted that they used the same lettuce.

Dyan: It was all about placement.

Bucky made the best soup, though. Steve loved Bucky's soups. It was usually all he could eat when he was sick.

Fae: Bucky dated a girl for her herb garden, a few winter months, just so the soup was better. Her name was Milly Van Buren.

I have returned, full of food and sunburned and happy!

For those who are un-DC comics familiar (if you are familiar, he is both original and New-52 compliant since they didn't change much except his parents), this would be the third Robin in the Batman series, who has since branched out into his own shiny superhero lifestyle. He is a teenage genius badass with a tendency to overthink things and has a massively long bio over here.

Sorry I've been absent. I'm having a really hard time with my job right now. Please forgive my slowness and disappearance. I'm going to catch up on things today and try to get some new stuff up.

I'm Lauren and I'm bringing in Miss. Dinah Laurel Lance or Laurel Lance. She is the Arrow version and is current canon Season 3. In show, she is an Assistant District Attorney in Starling City, the former girlfriend of Oliver Queen or "The Arrow" and older sister to the first Canary, Sara Lance. She is a bit on the tough girl side, stubborn and independent, but also compassionate and caring about her friends and family. She knows about Team Arrow and while Oliver was away, took up the whole superhero reins sort of and tried to defend the city. She's much more inexperienced in fighting skill, weaponry, and basic hero stuff 101, but she tries! She mostly donned the Canary garb because people knew and feared the Canary. Plus, she's out to find out something a lot more personal-I'm trying to not spoil ;) Anyway, she is open for plot and anything else.

Hey, it's Lauren again! I'm bringing in Clarice Starling from The Silence of the Lambs. She comes from shortly after the end of the book, so she's an FBI trainee from the late 1980s who has just made a name for herself by becoming involved in a really notorious case.

Seriously though, my hiatus is over, mah arm is healed (yeah I sprained my arm while on hiatus, I iz smart!) and Effie/Jonathan are ready to torture everyone play.

So we've got a bit of a plot going here The Imbolc (pronounced i-molk) should be confined to that post mostly. Of course your characters can talk about it elsewhere, but actual activities should stay on that post. There's no posting order, of course, and no limit to what you can do there. It's a celebration of spring, so if you've got ideas, go for it. The description given is fairly general, let your imaginations go wild.
