Well, I thought I'd give Ted another chance here, but it's become clear to me that he's not going to be easier this time around. Plot for him is scarce, and writing for him isn't as easy as I'd like it to be. It's sad to see him go, I love him very much. But I'd rather release him on my terms than watch him fade away from lack of interest.

So Nels has helped me give him a sendoff worthy of him. I thank her for that, and I thank everyone who played with him over the years.

It's hard to let a character go, even when they're struggling in your head. But this time I feel like I got actual closure, so I don't think there will be such a struggle with dropping him.
