everything that's random

dear all:

i just wanted to bring people up to speed on a thing i'm dealing with, which is causing and going to cause some rp slowness.

my kitty, who is 7, is dying. i have been dealing with this for a few months, and it seems i am now coming to the end of the struggle. unless some kind of miracle happens, i will have to say goodbye to her in the next few weeks, i think, if not by the end of this one.

please be patient with me on this. i want to be writing, but it's a little hard to concentrate sometimes. sometimes it's easier to zone out and watch a movie or play diablo three than it is to write something up.

that said, i am not on hiatus, just... a slow-atus.

thanks for understanding, and i'll continue to do what i can.

So I'm doing really well with my recovery according to my doc, but apparently I won't be ready to return to work for another month of physical therapy. *sigh* This does take some weight off my shoulders as I had been stressing how things were going the past few days. I'd been having some pretty serious spasming in my shoulders, but the doc says that's normal as my nerves heal. But yay! I am doing well!

This means I have a whole hoop-a-joob of time on my hands. I hope to get a bunch of personal writing done during this time at home. Meanwhile, plotty goodness is a great distraction!
