dear everybody:

some of you are aware and some are not, but i've really been having a time of it in real life, recently. i'd like to sort of apologize for that--everything was outside my control. the big stuff has (mostly) passed, but i am sorry for not keeping people more in the loop.

as an example, most recently, i have had serious health issues with my cat. she's six, and her kidneys are shutting down. she spent much of last week in the hospital, and i spent just about every night (and most of my days, even at my desk at work) sobbing, thinking i was going to lose her. while i did inform the mods of what was going on, i didn't log in and post. my brain just wasn't in rp. i did log in here and there and shoot off one reply at once, etc. but doing all of them at once just wasn't in the cards.

i've started a new job, too, and have been feeling that out. when i can take breaks, if i can log into ij at work on those breaks, etc.

so again, i'm sorry if anybody felt like i was ignoring them. i hope you can understand.
