PLOT! VERY IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!

Something big has happened to The City!

Now, before we get into details, we'd like to make one thing clear. All posts made before this one should continue as normal. If you want your characters to react to what's going on in their current setup, start a new post.

Now, as you may have noticed in this log, the City has been placed into a human body by force. It has been cut off from all of it's power. So what does that mean for you?

The streets and buildings will not move, everything will stay in exactly the place it was when The City was captured. For the first time, maps will mean something, everything will always be where it was the last time you saw it. The rooms inside of buildings will always be the same. If you leave your car on 10th street, it will be on 10th street when you go back for it.

The wall surrounding The City will not grow. It will stay at one size, which is still fairly tall, but perfectly climbable for any who wish to try. This means that there's potential to get outside of The City for the first time. The forest on the other side of the wall will continue to move, as the trees are alive. If you go through the trees, you will find that on the other side of them there is nothing more than a drop off. You will be able to see space beyond that. Stars, planets, the whole works. And you will be able to see that The City is not motionless in space, it constantly moves, even now.

Your cupboards and fridges will not restock themselves. Your food will rot if you don't use it, just like in the real world. It will not be replenished or replaced. Your wallets will not automatically be filled with money when you need it. Nothing that was provided for you previously will be provided now. If you already had a home, business, etc, it will not be taken away. FOR THE SAKE OF EASE, we're going to say that places like grocery stores, minimarts, restaurants, etc. are all still getting shipments. That it's so ingrained in The City's mind to provide for it's citizens that it's something of a fail safe.

Your characters' powers are fine, they won't be altered by this in any way. The only thing being changed here is the functions of The City, not the people within it. Though, if The City put some kind of restriction on your character's powers, it isn't there currently.

The City itself is currently walking around in a human body. Anybody is welcome to interact with it, just let Mila or Nels know, and we'll step into that role for you. If enough people ask it questions, there's a possibility it will hold a conference to answer things.

ALSO: During this plot, new characters will not be brought in.

If you are curious about something we might not have thought to address, or something isn't quite clear enough, please ask your questions here.
