It seems that we've been getting some spam on the main community recently. This should have been impossible, because as far as we were aware, the comment settings were such that nobody but members could post to WC, but somehow that setting was changed.

We have reported the spam, banned the spammer, deleted the comments, and made sure that the comments settings were set back to where they should have been.

However, if you discover more spam, please let us know. Don't delete it, send us a link to where it is. There are extra steps that we can take to get rid of these people that you guys don't have access to. We don't want your posts ruined by these idiots, so please allow us to exact vengeance on your behalf. They will be crushed as completely as we can crush them.

i keep forgetting to mention it here, and i think most of you already know, but...i am changing my name in the near future. legally.

i already swapped my email address over, and am slowly changing other things over, as well. basically, i have never felt any real attachment to my first name. and i've thought about changing it for over 10 years. i will understand if you have a hard time not calling me lauren. i DO ask that you use the new email addy, though. it is: lilah.wrote@gmail.com.

and once i get the paperwork and court date, my name will be lilah.

just wanted to make people aware, in case they were confused at why i haven't been using anything but 'L' to sign off on stuff.
