So, I'm going to follow suit.

I'm the great Nelwyn of the Southern uhm..yeah, I'm Nel(s). Sometimes I'm plural.

First up is Fred Burkle of Angel fame. She hails from right before "Waiting in the Wings" of season three. She hasn't kissed Gunn yet. She's been in the City for three years, which is a long time. She's finding her way, but without a constant support system, she's still suffering a little of the old Fredness - the Pylea Fred craziness. Thankfully she's managed to stop writing on the walls, but the City has refused to give her a computer this whole time - well, one that will do all the lovely math she wants it to do. The City keeps her technotoys scaled down. She tends to adopt wayward types, and is living in Angel's old apartment (the one that gets blown up at the end of season 1). Just adding that because it could be fun to have people stumble in on the old Angel Investigations spot. She's up for making friends and finding lost souls. Fred has somewhat accepted that she is in a very bizarre state of reality, City craziness aside. While she knows what happens in her future if she had remained on the path the show set for her, she has decided that the City is not on that path and lives how she wants.

Next we have Simon Tam [info]i_conform, older and only brother to River Tam [info]i_feel. Simon has been in the City for a little while now, yet he still wishes the City's technology was more advanced. He works rather hard in the ER, and is always good for fixing people up. For a while there, he seemed to be meeting a new person every day in the ER. He'd probably like to have some friends who aren't looking for free medical attention and who aren't too bothered by his still lacking social skills.

Then there's Zoe Washburne [info]warrior_woman. She's from after Serenity, meaning she doesn't have a Wash. She's actually been in the City for a while and has become an interesting fixture in the City's crime fighting scene. She's got a secret. She's Batman. Giving her a sidekick could be fun, but then so could just seeing her kick tail or hang out. She could use some hanging out that has nothing to do with crime fighting or Alfred, not that he's a bad guy, but sometimes a girl could use people her own age (ha!). Some posts for Zoe/Batmanness - Some serious thought to things & Alone again? Choices made. Bruce Wayne narratives sort of related - On the move & Fade away.

Here's Baba Yaga of Fables - [info]i_cast. Baba's taken from right after Mr. Dark starts to wreck havoc in Fabletown, NY. She's freed when the magics stop working, and instead of crawling up to the streets of NYC, she ends up crawling up to the streets of the City. She's got a strange deal with the City, and has a tendency to push its buttons, just like it pushes hers. The latest button push from the City is her chicken legged log cabin which stays in the Park for now. Would be interesting to see people get into it or cause trouble with it, but be warned. Baba's not a very nice playmate. Fun times!

Last, but not least. He wouldn't think himself so either way, as last is first when you go far enough around. Charlie Crews [info]i_zen is a police detective who recently, relatively, was freed from prison. Exonerated actually with DNA evidence. He did not commit the crime, murders and theft, but he is seeking retribution for them. He won a great deal of money, which doesn't matter to him too much. He just wants his car and a roof over his head; the money was just a nice little "we're sorry" from the LAPD. He tries to live in the now and be free from anger, but sometimes that's a little hard. Charlie can and will do what he must to find justice. Oh, yeah. He really has a thing for fruit.

Knight for rent

Reintroductions abound! Or at least one more.

I'm Cary and from the characters I had here before, I am only bringing one back right now. This is Sir Guy of Gisbourne from Robin Hood. He is from the most recent BBC version of the legend which means he is hotter than Robin was. Um, I mean he is basically a knight errant. Which means he is out looking for someone in a high position to work for. This Guy came from the end of season 1 when Marian left him at the altar.

Any king, queens, lords or anyone who can convince Guy that they are a big shot should call Sir Guy if they need a right hand man who is good with his sword. And Guy is not afraid to use that sword. He is open to playing with anyone and everyone.

re-introduction

oh hai. :)

i'm lauren, and i have had quite a lot of faces here over the years. two of them will be returning, with two new friends in tow. and while one of them assumes he needs no introduction, the rest aren't as egotistical.

so, my returning characters are ...

[info]i_feel-- river tam. river has been in the city four years (i believe) and has had a lot of big things happen to her since arriving. first and foremost, john coffey "healed" what he could of her. she no longer speaks as randomly as she did on 'firefly,' although she does remain permanently harmed by what the alliance did to her. she and hannibal lecter are an item, and i believe still are, as we are continuing where the city left off. more on river and what's happened can be found in her personal journal; i also save threads with other characters under her memories if you're really interested.

[info]i_liveforever-- lestat. lestat resents me for writing anything here and believes you should all just know who he is because he is amazing.

he has been very in-character in the city, and even made himself a companion a while back. he arrived her also four years ago.

we would both appreciate it if you can mostly forget the blood canticle debacle. (i brought him here post-blood canticle to give him a better ending, so to speak.)

and my new friends are...

[info]i_chase-- veronica mars. veronica arrives here where season 3 left off. she will be looking to set up mars investigations, and has had an internship with the fbi. other agents and law enforcement types and also any of the angel investigations crew, you really want to meet this girl.

[info]i_host-- lorne. :) lorne will be setting up caritas, and it will be as it was in 'angel'-- a sanctuary and violence-free zone for ALL. there will be karaoke. there will be drink specials. there will be happy hours. and there will likely also be a twitter feed for lorne. lorne arrives to the city mid-season 3 of ATS.

i have other characters waiting in the wings, but i'd like to see how the game goes before pulling in anyone else. (those were: jack sparrow, melaka fray, aeon flux, and indiana jones.) if you have plot for my current characters, please let me know. if you'd like to see one of the inactive four back, let me know that, too.

i really missed WC and i am really excited it's coming back. :)

PS: spike sends his regards. i was told by a few of you that he was missed. (for those who weren't here before, spike is deceased. and now and then i get a bit sad about that, because he was a really good time.)

Hello! And welcome back!

Hi, I'm Mila, one of your mods. Time to intro my kiddies, huh? I'm bringing back pretty much everyone I had before, minus Dexter. I know people are sad that he's not coming back, but I just had such trouble with him at the end. I thought it was time to let him go.

First is Jesse Custer, of Preacher fame. He's been in this game since it began. In his time in The City he has joined with Genesis, giving him all the powers of God. He tries to not abuse these powers, as he's a firm believer in the whole "With great power comes..." thing. He's a typical Southern guy. Gentlemanly. He might think your tough female character needs to be taken care of. He smokes a lot. He helps where he can, though lately he's taken to keeping the balance within the City, whatever that should mean. He took Spike's soul out of him because he believed it didn't belong there. Jesse is also a slut. Most of his friends within The City are female, and he's done very naughty things with a good number of them. He did have a long term relationship with Maxine Gibbons, but then she vanished. He's a relaxed kind of guy, and likes to have a good time. And swear. And drink.

Then there's Jennifer Government ([info]government) who is currently a part of the CBI (City Bureau of Investigations) and her partner is Charlie Crews. She's also sort of dating Simon Tam, if he could stop being so goddamned shy and just... you know, even hold her hand in public. She's a good Government agent, she's big into rules as long as they benefit the people and make sense. She wants to solve cases. She wants to keep people safe. She also has a cat named Jake. He talks. He's more of a roommate, really.

Ted Earley ([info]i_worknumbers) is still trying to get used to the City. Things keep turning around on him. Like Charlie giving him the house and going to live above the garage. He is George's financial adviser, but that's all he really does for a job. He's nervous like he wasn't before, and he's a little uncomfortable with the whole thing. He feels that the City is a prison, but he's okay with it in such that it's not a typical prison. He's not sure about things like zombies and storybook characters talking to him, and he's really not sure why every female inside of the City has to be attractive and younger than he is.

And of course Jack Napier ([info]i_jest) AKA The Joker. What to say about Jack. Well, he was king of the roost of Arkham. He'd taken it over. A few times, actually. Doctor House helped him to cure the whiteness of his skin, and he's been dying his hair black, so it's really hard to pinpoint him in public now. Except he's still absolutely insane. Or supersane, as some Arkham doctors have said. Able to blend in when he needs. But he does like things to blow up. He likes mayhem. He likes murder. Jack is aware of who people are in the Batverse. He has no idea that Zoe is Batman now, though. But he had lots of dealings with Batfolk and all of them are unmasked to him. He likes to play with them. He also likes to torment the innocent. He's not the funloving prankster Joker that kids these days have come to know from cartoons. He's the very violent Joker from the darker comics.

Ah, Hannibal Lecter ([info]i_consume), what a strange life he has led. He is, as was mentioned in Lauren's post, an item with River Tam. He has killed a few people within the City limits, and has given a severe phobia of straws to Aeon Flux. He and Lestat have a rather strange relationship, Lestat would like him to be a vampire, but River won't have it. When Gregory House left the City Hospital, Hannibal was placed as Head of Diagnostics. He's also been seen in surgery, and along with Simon Tam helped cause the zombie outbreak. He has yet to go into practice much with his psychology, but that's something I would love to explore. Set up some office hours for him. He can be nice, if you are nice. He is polite and well spoken. A bit arrogant. Deadly. Hannibal is taken from the book Hannibal Rising, so he is young yet. He has encountered Clarice in the City, and wouldn't mind doing so again. He has read all his own books and seen all the movies. He thinks Anthony Hopkins is a good choice, but there's no way in hell he would have cut his own hand off.

Last but not least, I am bringing a new kid in to play. Eric Northman ([info]i_bite). Eric is a bit of a mash between the books and the first two seasons. He is not going to be happy at all about being in the City. But I would like to see him in many situations with many different types. I've been thinking about interactions with Lestat and the different ways that Eric could play with him and torment him. Yes. Somebody tormenting Lestat. Wouldn't that be fun? Eric thinks so.

Definitely open to plot with everybody. If you have ideas, feel free to shoot them my way.
