Most importantly, my apartment survived the hurricane with not so much as a broken window (which is freaking miraculous) and no flooding (even moreso considering I live about a mile from a heavily-flooded lake.) The area around me was pretty wrecked when we got back from evacuating, the power took about a week and a half to get turned back on, and I've been spending the past few weeks trying to clean up after our all-night "shove everything in garbage bags and shove those into bathrooms and closets" spree.

But now I'm done enough to consider myself back, and I have at least a few more days before I have to go back to work (I work on Galveston Island, which was basically wrecked by Ike, and my boss hasn't deemed my lab safe just yet) so I'd like to get caught back up on RPing here. Catwoman-mun, I can continue that long-delayed thread if you want! And otherwise, Lee and Firekeeper/Blind Seer are now available again :-D
