Well, well well. Seems like somebody has been firmly grasped in our clutches! I kid, I kid. Or do I?

Lauren (the one who brought us Liandra) is bringing us Firekeeper from the Firekeeper Saga who can be found at i_hunt.

I dig all these new fandoms, guys, seriously.

So I couldn't resist picking up someone who isn't an angstmuffin. Firekeeper is, for anyone who hasn't read the series, a feral child who was raised by intelligent wolves ("Royal Wolves") for a decade after her village was burned down. (There's a lot more to it, but it took pages and pages to describe her history in her application and I'll leave it at that for now.) She's accompanied by her friend, packmate, brother etc. Blind Seer, a really big Royal Wolf (he's the size of a small pony, seriously. Royal Wolves are not only smarter than the average variety, they're bigger) because otherwise she would be an angstmuffin.

I'm taking them from just after the third book, "The Dragon of Despair", so they've been living among humans for about two years now. They'll both understand your character as long as said character is speaking English, though only Firekeeper will be able to respond in kind. She's a good kid, and he's a good wolf, and they like making friends. And food. And music and dancing, in Firekeeper's case. Totally up for any kinds of plots in the future.

They'll be living in the park, because neither of them like being cooped up. Come say hi when I put up a thread which should hopefully be in the next day or two!
