Did everyone here go to school?

I went to a number of different schools, but then I was born and raised as a Princess so there was ALWAYS some kind of teachings to be learnt. I did not like all of the studies I had to undertake. Thankfully, I had supportive parents who allowed me to engage in other activities such as self-defence and other such physical activities.

What was your upbringing like?

That'd be self-defense and other such physical activities, princess. Dad wanted me to be a hero.

I've not been referred to as a princess for some time. Sounds like you dad had an interesting picture of what a hero should look like.
Mine was anything but

If its self-defence and similar skills you have maybe we should go sparing at some point?

My dad was an interesting guy. And a good man.

Yup. I'd be game for that. Is archery among your skills?

My dad was an interesting person as well.

Archery I have indulged in and have not had the opportunity to practice as much as I would like. I am sure we can find somewhere around here to do some shooting.

How are you with swordfighting?

I'm sure there's a good, safe spot out of the way somewhere.

I've done staff fighting? No swords.

Staff fighting is something I have done in the past so happy to remind myself of that skill.

I am sure I can put my hands on a spare lighsabre if you want to give it a go?

What's a lightsabre?

The best way to describe a lighsabre is an energy sword. A typical lightsaber is over a meter in length total, usually consisting of a metal hilt that projects a brightly-lit energy blade. There are different colour blades.

They are the preferred weapon of choice for someone like myself who is known in my world as a Jedi Knight.

Do the colors signify anything?

So that's like a soldier.

The weapon is supposed to be constructed as part of the Jeid's training to become a Jedi Knight. So the colour and the rest of the design in terms of hilt, intention to be one or two handed are decisions made by the Padawan (Apprentice).

Typically, blue/green are normally used by the Jedi and Red by the Sith. The Sith are our adversaries as they wield opposite energies and values, (like the Force) to the Jedi.

Now your going to ask me what the force is?

Oh. So not red. You guys fight each other because you choose to wield different energies.

Did I get that right?

I wish it was as simple as that.

The two sides have a long and complicated history of both sides defending why they are right and the other side is wrong.

I suspect it is similar to any rival groups from other world's but suffice to say it's easy to forget they both have a lot of similarities in their culture, training, beliefs.

The most simple way to explain is they are sides of a similar religion who were always destined to belief the opposite of one another.

Forgive me if I went on for a little while then.

And all that leads to war.

It's okay, princess. We all have complicated backstories.

Indeed. My past involved a lot of war and death. It's complicated, but I'm happy to share my experiences with others.

As for the force itself. I don't know how it works here but I'm thinking I should probably find out from the others.

Yeah. Surprisingly enough, I don't think I'm done fighting. It's all I've ever known.

Oh, princess. I'm far too foulmouthed to be jedi material.

I was hoping I had stopped fighting. But I don't think that is the case either for me.

I'm not intending to train anyone to be a Jedi. Those days have come and gone for me, so you don't need to worry about that.

How are you with guns by the way?

You've been hunting?

I'm skilled. They're not my favorite, but in a pinch.

I went Hunting in a lot if different environments for a lot of different reasons.

I have always preferred the hand to hand combat or close combat options.

We should see who we can talk to about getting a room we can kit out for training in the new complex. I believe they are intending to run courses or training on other popular topics.

I'm an archer. I like to hit my targets from far away, but again. When all else fails.

Sure, I can ask 'em. Or you, if you'd like.

I'm sure we can work something out so we can at least store weapons and the like securely in the new complex. I'll ask the question.

But in the meantime exploring the woods sounds like a food idea to get some shooting done. What do you think?

I did not realise that. Who do you think we can check with on these things? I do not want to go against any rules/laws in place?
