I guess it's time to get a job. I was a CSI tech back home so if the police department is hiring, that would be cool. Otherwise I'll do just about anything.

There have been quite a few displaced that have worked with the local police department in the past. I'm sure there is a position open that you can fill. And if not, there are businesses that are owned by the displaced that will always be willing to hire you.

If you find you need proof of credentials I believe there is someone in town that can help you. Though I'm afraid I don't know who has taken over the forging of identities these days. The Winchesters might be the ones to ask.

The Roadhouse is a local business but I've known displaced to have worked there for a time. Miss Branson also runs a bar, Bed of Roses. I myself co-own, manage and fill the roll of head baker, at a bakery near the edge of town. Most of my staff is local though I have recently hired Scorpius Malfoy to work up front. There is also the Youth Center. These are only the ones I can recall at the moment. Perhaps someone else will mention those I might have missed.

I've been to The Roadhouse before so I know where that is. If the police station doesn't pan out for me, I'll check around. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, don't do that. That'll bring up more questions than it's worth. The whole displaced thing isn't common knowledge. And, the seal seems to provide some sort of perception filter, so most of the time people don't recognise us.

I worked in homocide when I was here the first time. So, I can give you details of who to talk to. You're just gonna need to make sure your ID and crap is all sorted first.

I never saw any weird stuff until the past year when my city ended up full of metahumans but even that is nothing like this. We don't have demons and angels and seals. Not yet anyway.

In my world, most of the werd stuff is actually fae. Vampires, shifters, sirens you name it. It's probably fae. Including the ancients that humsn thought were gods.

Pretty new...about a month now, I think. It's been crazy since I got here. I already can't believe some of it and I've been living it so far. I mean, we had crazy stuff happening to us back home, but nothing like ghosts coming back from the dead who want to kill us and all.
