Look, whatever your opinion of me.

Hope has been quite upset for the last while, she clearly misses her mother but obviously her mother is returned to New Orleans.

Advice would be appreciated on how to calm a four month old.

Time.

Babies are sensitive. They notice when things are wrong. She's quite aware Haley's gone and the only thing that will truly help is time. She needs to be held, she needs to hear your voice and often. Keep talking, even singing. Mostly she just needs to know she isn't alone.

I'm doing that, talking to her, holding her. Bringing her to see people she knows. I expect you're right though, she's aware Hayley is no longer here and is reacting as such.

And I have no wish for her to forget Hayley but would showing her pictures and things at this point be worse?

I don't know about the pictures. She's only an infant and might not get the correlation. But you could maybe try it once and see? If it's upsetting to her, you'll know.

It's mostly a comfort game at this point. The same as with anyone who has lost to the Seal. Just much, much younger.

I have no wish to upset her at all, but I refuse to let her forget Hayley.

I expect you're right. Thank you Emma

You are doing all you can, Klaus. Have confidence in your own ability as a father. The rest will take time.

I'm trying to. It's just hardly natural to me
