Oh, I'm sure you'll all get a spiel from SHIELD and various other associate individuals, about how I'm evil. Maybe you have already.

But, Grant tells me that second chances are a thing here.

So, I thought I would get my side of the story out, to anyone that has any questions.

Differences in opinion, mostly. I haven't done anything that the others from my world haven't. I just did it fir the other side.

Second chances are a thing if you actually want one.

Happy to see myself in such attractive company. Better than the usual company I keep.

Ah, it's a long one. I was betrayed by the organization I worked for many years ago. They left me for dead, with no evac. I swore then, that I'd bring them down. By any means necessary.

My father was considered evil for a long time and tried to wipe out all of humanity so that the Earth could be sold but his biggest opponent gave him a chance. I don't judge by past actions.

People do get second chances here. Not often with the people they've screwed over or their close friends, but the rest of us, you stand a chance.

My question, I guess, is what would your intentions be? What is it you want from here?

Oh, I never expected those lot to give me a second chance. Still half expect Romanoff or Barton to shoot on sight.

You're right. Second chances are a thing here. And Grant has been given one. He's doing good things with it - made real friends and is gaining back the trust of the people who earned it. If you intend to screw that up for him, we'll have a problem.

Way I figure it, second chances gotta be earned. The road to redemption is a rocky path an all. Some things, you just can't take back. All you can to is try to do good, try to make up for some of it. People'll either forgive you or they won't, but if you put it all on if people believe you're dfferent, you'll fail.

Like the others spoke of, second chances are definitely possible. It can be a difficult road but still possible nonetheless. Everyone gets a second chance. So long as no people are killed or hurt. Well, innocent people. It shouldn't be an issue if you what's the phrase on that show, crossed out, crossed off take out an evil threat. Some of us do that anyway when a Big Bad threatens the city and we all band together as a team, or we take out evil stuff when we go on monster hunts. But not everyone has to fight, some can relax and use this place as an opportunity for a better life if they choose that instead.

I'm Damien Thorn, by the way. Member of the displaced for the past five years, former cadet, university graduate, current fighter, hunter, party planning helper, delivery guy, etc. And have certain abilities Maybe keep that under wraps for now

Not everyone will want to even give you that second chance. And you need to accept that you're not going to convince everyone, if this is going to work for you. You could save small children and puppies from a burning building and there are those for whom forgiveness of the things you have done is impossible

But yes, its possible to find a place here, if you're willing to work at it.
