And I get it. Not a huge fan of HYDRA myself.~~They're responsible for~~

But, this kid. He's broken Steve. A so called SHIELD agent got to him as a teenager. His childhood sucked, and then this guy came along and gave him an out, a way of not going to jail. He manipulated him and brainwashed him to follow him blindly.

It's not an excuse. But, I think that makes him fixable. Like Romanoff was once.

Seriously, I gave him a puppy and he thought it was a test, Steve.

HYDRA did unspeakable things to to Bucky. The stripped him of his humanity and turned him into a weapon to follow orders without thinking. That might not be specifically Grant Ward's fault, but that does leave him with a mighty big bone to pick with the organization. But I've got him to wait and not move in on Ward, I told him I'd talk to you about it.

And I think I'd better speak to Grant myself. If he was as twisted up by HYDRA rhetoric as you say he was, then Bucky might have some sympathy for his situation. I mean, at least enough sympathy not to kill him. But Barnes won't listen to you, and he won't accept second-hand knowledge. It's gotta come from me.

I know. I get it.

It's appreciated. Mostly because this place. It's big on the second chance thing. Everyone here apparently gets a second chance, regardless of what they've done at home. ~~Loki's here. Did I tell you that yet. Even he gets a~~

And, I don't want to see your buddy villified because of this. Because that's what will happen.

	If Ward is committed to change, I really think he deserves as much of another chance as anyone else, I really do. We'll work this out. Talk to him, tell me when. My schedule is pretty open these days. (Reply to this) (Parent)
