That is a very forward and abrupt question that I'm not exactly sure how to answer other than to be honest.

I have been part of plans to kill your siblings. I've also helped your siblings when I've had to. We have our differences and overall I don't get along with them for the most part. But Caroline is my best friend and I'm trying. They've hurt a lot of people I care about

There are some from our world that don't feel the same, I'd guess, but it seems like there are more than enough. Sometimes personalities clash.

Most days. I think some days they aggravate her. But that's okay. I feel that way too.

The half truths can be a little bit annoying.

That's normally how families are. Can't get along all the time. My grams and my dad, especially, used to aggravate me too.

It just makes no sense not to tell the complete truth if you're going to bother even telling part of it.

I bet it's not. I hated when my dad and grams argued. Or when Elena and Care did. But normally people argue because they care so much.

They are, yeah.

I think that we take the people that we love for granted. We forget sometimes that they won't always be there. So, we fight and argue and all of that when we really shouldn't.

No, I'm just a human, but there's not really a suitable acronym for when one friend is immortal and the other not! I was a ghost when I came here, could only be seen by other supernaturals. Kol was one of the few who took the time to get to know me, helped me feel like a part of a community. And he's kept that up since I wished to be human. I know he's got his faults and they are many, but he's a good guy and a great friend.

I did. And I've heard that. Maybe it will, maybe I'll end up stuck as a ghost again, but to be able to live again, to be able to touch things and talk to people, even for a little while. It's pretty great. I have a job and everything.
