I don't know. I don't know how to handle it. Couple friends of mine said...just letting him have his choices, things he controls, should help. It's just...he has no control over everything at home, he's either stuck here where he can't do anything about it, or goes home to be controlled by the Nogitsune, and nothing changes and the guilt is killing him, Lydia. It's harder, somehow, than it was at home. I don't know how to help him.

He's not dealing with any of it back home either, Scott. He's just focused on helping-- Malia with her humanity. And helping find Derek who's gone missing. I haven't been seeing him nearly as often anymore. I think he's just avoiding it. Or pretending to.

I don't know what his mindset is here, I tried talking to him earlier but it feels like he's not willing to listen. I figured you might have better luck.

	That's the first step, Scott. Denial and Isolation. It's been months. He should be better by now, but he won't if he doesn't get help to get to the next step. So I'm not the only one who thinks there's more to this trip than him wanting to clear his head? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

No. The trip started in Van Nuys. Which, fine, California. It's familiar. I could almost believe it was random. But then he's headed to Memphis...and I don't know. It just seems too...specific to be hopping on a bus and going wherever it takes you. You don't get on a bus from Cali to TN without a purpose. Go to Nevada. Go somewhere that's not going to take a couple days.

	No, that makes no sense. And Memphis and Van Nuys are very specific places. If he wanted to do a tour around the US, he'd be going to the big touristy places, I imagine. And he wouldn't be taking a bus. Maybe we should go find him, Scott. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Right? I knew it couldn't just be me being paranoid. I don't know... maybe. But, what if that just makes it worse? Everybody I've talked to keeps saying to let him have control, let him choose when to come back, but... I dunno what to do. I get what they're saying, but he's by himself and...I'm just stuck.
