That's because she thinks she's better than you, when really she's probably worse. You, me? We don't hide who we are behind some precious little facade. We are who we are, no apologies. Elena isn't honest about herself to anyone, and I think that makes her a thousand times worse.

You're welcome. I think the people calling you mellodramatic are the ones that need to calm down, personally. You're allowed to feel, Rebekah, I don't care what anyone says.

Exactly. We admit and own who and what we are. She hides behind the innocent victim of circumstance. Which, okay, fine. Circumstances made things crazy. But there were other options she didn't bother paying attention to because those options wouldn't have gotten her what she actually wanted in the end. In this? She hides behind "but I didn't want my brother to die". Okay, fine, I'm pretty sure you and your brothers can pretty much empathize with that at the very base of it. But. She didn't have to kill him to prevent Jeremy from dying. Those daggers your brother is so fond of shoving into the rest of you would've easily lifted that compulsion, would they not? But it wouldn't have gotten his mark completed, wouldn't have led her to the cure. She can claim whatever the hell she wants, but the truth is pretty fucking evident.

People can get the fuck over that shit. No one in this damn town is anything close to a saint except maybe, like...Bo Hess. That little girl is like a beacon of all things good and light.

I know right? With Elena around, though, that might happen a bit more. At least on that particular subject?

We've all had some shit circumstances in our lives. My parents were insane and hunted my family for a thousand years, you lost a child and later your family. Circumstances made us what we are, but we admit it. I was going to dagger Kol myself, that would have ended the compulsion on Damon and saved Jeremy. But what she did was the fast route to getting the mark done, she murdered my brother and tens of thousands of vampires for her own gains, making her even worse than us.

Bo is the best of us, she's an amazing little girl.

It's possible.

Yeah. She's friends with John and there was the whole Sherlock/Moriarty thing. Safe to say, plenty of people bitchface me because of it. Rightfully so, I guess, but no one would even give me the time of day back then. Just all jumped on the "Well, the Gilberts said..." train and let their minds be made up for them. Fucking sheep mentality around here sometimes, I hate it.

I don't really see why you got so yelled at for the Moriarty thing. It's not like you actually killed that Sherlock. I mean honestly, talk about overreactions. And another thing, at least my issues with you are based on what you've done to my family, it's personal. I hate when people just get swept along with whatever's fashionable.

I have no idea. I really don't. I've been wondering the same thing myself for awhile now. And let's be honest, you're hotter than me and Elena. If anyone should be able to bat an eyelash and get her way, it's you. And I'm seriously not saying that to suck up, you're just that fucking gorgeous.

Mostly because of how wrapped up in him I was. I mean, I was practically his right hand woman. He said jump, I said how high, kind of thing. But it wasn't for nothing. The house that girl Jesse and her dad stay in? That was mine, given to me by Moriarty. He kept me stock in anything I wanted, had plenty of money at his disposal. It got me a place to stay, clothes, all the necessities and then some. It just also got me massively hated. Yes, and thank you for that. I mean, I never thought I'd thank someone for having issues with me, but hey. At least you have actual reasons.

So. Let me get this straight. You turn up in town, already with at least some people against you because of who you are, and this guy comes along and offers you, Katherine Pierce, ultimate survivor, not just protection, but money and comfort as well. And then people are surprised by you accepting that? Why? And hey, you're welcome. I like to make up my own mind on someone, not just follow a trend. Yup, pretty much. And the first time I showed up, it was from when I was desiccating in the tomb, so I was pretty freaking desperate regardless. Had a slew of people hating me from home, others being massively suspicious because their word was gold. I was practically outcasted, day one, and then enter Moriarty. Anyone in that position would've taken what they could get. And the hypocrisy never goes away.
