I suppose it is my turn to request your honesty.

Do you think it would bother you if I were to attempt to explore the fr Jotun abilities I have in greater depth? I know nearly nothing about them. I do not like not knowing important details of that nature ~~any more than I like having them to begin wi~~. It may prove important, at some point.

I am not certain I am comfortable with it, myself. I thought I should ask your thoughts, though. ~~And Thor's, I suppose, though I am not certain I wish to~~

	It's a fine line, love. You wield the power, you cannot let it wield you. If you feel comfortable with it, if you are able, of course I will support you. And I will assist however I can. 	That is a concern, of course... I am not sure how much of my less than pleasant nature is simply mine, and how much is... what I am. I always thought they were simply incapable of being anything other than monstrous. The stories never showed anything else. I do not want to allow myself to be that. I believe we are all of our own making. You chose your path because you felt it was the one that would suit you, not because of your biological makeup.

Midgardians have a saying, a study of sorts. Nature versus nurture. How much of a person's being is made of their genetic material and how much is the environment in which they are raised. I believe there is a blend of both in us all.

It is only power, my sweet boy. You, in the end, are stronger than it.

Are you not friends with a demon? Are the children here, the residents of this Seal, not taught that demons are to be hated and feared as well? The vampires here who have all settled and mostly embraced friends and family, are the children of their worlds not taught to fear them as well?

A person is much more than their making, Loki. I have no love for Laufey, and I never will. That does not mean that you are him or like any of his kind. I have not encountered all of the Jotun, I do not doubt there are good of them as well.
