Stefan and I were thinking of going away for a couple of days. I think I need to get my head together, and so does he. And I have a lot to make up for there.

And if Henrik is going to adjust to being told what we all are now, it'll probably help if I'm not around while I'm like this.

And you can't have it compelled out of you either.

If you guys do that, it will seriously instill some resentment in him. Not for like huge things that might end up killing him. But pain teaches us lessons just as much as love does.
When you have your control you'll come back?

	Nope. But he's just a kid. I will. I only plan on being a couple of days, just a change of scenery, some space. Lawrence feels suffocating right now. I do love him. So much. And despite what my brother claims, I have only truly loved three times in my life. Alexander, Marcel and Stefan. And I love Stefan more than anything.

But I'm not her. I'm not Elena. I know Stefan loves me, and I'm thankful for that every single day, especially right now. I just wonder if Elena was here, if she showed up tomorrow from a time when they were together and so in love, before my family came into her life. She's the one everyone loves.

I don't know what would happen if she did return. But I don't think Stefan would just walk back into her arms. Not when he knows what will happen. Not when it'd hurt you so badly.

I used to think they were epic loves, but that was pretty much before I really knew what love was. I loved Tyler and I loved Matt, but neither of those compare to the all encompassing degree that I love your brother.

And she was here and he didn't go for her. He wanted you.
