I've been trying to tell him to find something that makes him happy, but he's stuck on this hunter thing now. I don't care if he wants to be a cop or an ice cream truck driver as long as he finds something to focus on that isn't just waiting for the apocalypse. That would drive anyone insane.

I'm going to try to get him his library job back, but I think he needs something. I just don't know how to help him.

You're right. He does need something. I was hoping that maybe I could keep him busy with hunter drills. Maybe get him into the job so that he can tackle cases with me and Dean between figuring out what to do with Lucifer. It's stuff he knows, but if it's not what he wants to do...

He's only been in the human world for but so long. It's gonna take some time for him to find his place.

I don't think he's happy with hunter drills Sam. I think he's doing all these things because he wants to fit in with the rest of us. He seemed so excited about being a cop that I thought it was what he wanted, but maybe it wasn't about being a cop at all. I think he just wants to be around us. You specifically and Dean.

I know but watching from the outside is hard. Can you do me a favor? Make him an ID? Even if he doesn't want to be a cop with it. It might make him feel more human. It's a basic thing, but it might mean everything to him.

	He's always been welcome to come by and see me any time he - But I guess Ruby. And Emily. They sort of...complicate things. For him, anyway. Yeah, I can do that. Not a problem. Yeah they do. Being an angel and all I don't think he can even talk about them yet.

Thanks. I think he'd like it, and if you gave it to him I think he'd like it even more. It's something everyone else has so just to be included in it might make him happy.

I don't think so, but talking and doing things with him might help. It's hard enough figuring out what people mean over the internet sometimes, and for someone who's just learning about human stuff it's probably nearly impossible.

He knew a different version of you both very well, it's probably hard for him. I know you've got Emily and Ruby right now to worry about, but just don't forget about him too okay?

	He's gonna have to come around to it eventually. Ruby and Emily aren't going anywhere. He doesn't have to like that they're in my life, but he's going to have to accept it. ~~It's not just Emily and Ruby that I'm trying to~~ It's good to see that you're looking out for him.
