	Oh emotion is a part of it. Emotion drives the flames. But you still think of it as separate. You fight with it, you fight because of it. That flame is part of you. You're a firebender, girl. 	It was tiring starting a fire every time I got angry. When I slept and had nightmares I would sometimes start fires in my sleep. It's much easier without that. Fire is useful here, though. Plenty of monsters to set aflame. So you and your brother are from a place where this ability is common? (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

You simply had no control. You can't just wish for control. You limited your fire and I don't understand why one would do that.

I'm willing to teach you. But know that I am disappointed you capitulated so easily to what was 'easy'

I wouldn't say common. But yes, we are. The ability to bend the elements is a part of many of us. Fire is strongest of course, but Earth and Water can be utilized too and ...well, Air less so nowadays.

The Air Nomads were weak.
