What does one wear to a meal that's kind of a meet-the-family sort of thing?

I am completely bloody petrified right now.

Yes, yes I am. In a family setting. I am not family-friendly. I am not child friendly.

Jaime would probably think I was strange if I showed up in armour. I would not be averse to it, but heavy armor defeats the purpose of a quick escape if one is needed. Shopping is definitely needed. Red and gold are wonderful colors. Especially gold. I need something that doesn't show too much cleavage and I should go for pants. Because Jaime likes staring at my legs if any part of them are showing and I don't do skirt longer than mid-thigh.

Is it normal to feel petrified under these circumstances?

They're Lannisters, I'm not sure they're child friendly either honey. Just be yourself. That's what he'll want from you.

I think he might appreciate the red and gold. They're very big on what they are. On the proud tradition and all. But possibly keep the legs hidden, that could just be unfortunate.

No, its normal. I mean, so I hear. This isn't anywhere close to how far I usually get with guys, meeting the family. But just go slow, okay?

I'll keep that in mind. I'll just try not to swear so much. I think I can manage a mostly clean mouth for this.

So everyone is a winner. I look good in both colors, and they have the tradition thing relating to them. It would be a tragedy, even though I think it's a travesty to wear anything that's longer than mid-thigh. But I can make an exception for this.

New territory, Maker's Breath this is terrifying. But yes, slow. Because I don't do this sort of thing. Yet here I am, doing it. At least Jaime is telling Joffrey about our relationship?
