After about a week, I finally got my database up and running again. Seems that something in the computer corrupted and it took me this long to stabilize my backups and get everything working again. That said I've begun compiling all the data I can find about the area into the system. Given that this place is little more than a college town back home there was never a reason to get a full spectral map of the city. Clearly this is all different now. But I found the library. Possiblity for work there... I hope. Not like I don't have experience, and back home I got hired because I'd practically grown up there. Who knows.
Also made the mistake of mistake of looking myself and some of my aquaintances up... Its amazing just how much misinformation is out there. Somehow I doubt that Dinah would appreciate the knowledge - were she here - that some people thing she and I are lesbians. Nothing against them, but it happens that I'm not one. And especially given the fact that she's married? Makes me wish Ted was here... he'd be able to make jokes out of this.
So among the things now to do, starting this process is not going to be easy. I'll need to start gathering the data I need... Took me about a month the first time, but then I had WayneTech's resources. So this time it will take longer and I'll be doing it manually. Should keep my eyes open to see if there are any individuals who would be willing to help.
Time to get started...
