Dean and I did some talking. What happened here, with all of you, it was horrible. I'm not so great with Maybe it'd be better if Dean did th We might not be your favorite people in the world, but we truly feel awful for what happened to those of you who were abducted by Alastair. Normally we wouldn't do this We wouldn't do this at all, but Because of this, and for more obvious reasons, we want to do more than tell you all about what you're up against. Discussing devils traps, salt lines, and holy water will only get everyone here but so far. To your credit, and I'm referring to every last one of you, you did a good job at getting everyone back from those demons. Yet it won't always work that way. You won't always get the jump on them. And it certainly won't always be demons that are your big problem. There are hundreds upon hundreds of different creatures out there; there simply isn't a way for you to know how to fight every last one of them. Dean and I have been doing this our entire lives and we still don't know everything about what's out there. It's a big world filled with a lot of nasty things. I wouldn't bring this up if I didn't feel like some of you Buffy might take an interest in chasing after them. But it seems like there are a few people who might want to do so. Some of you might want to hunt. Maybe you want to prove a point, maybe you want to make a difference out there, maybe it's just good sport to you. Whatever it is that you plan on heading out there for, all I ask is that you let us make sure that you're prepared.
I've noticed that a lot of you are different. Well, guess what? That's good. It gives you an advantage out in the hunt. Doesn't mean you'll be an automatic expert, but a bit of speed and strength comes a long way in a fight. So does knowledge. Which is why Dean and I have decided that, if you can push past your conflicts with us, we'll work with you. Any one of you that are interested in learning how to become a Hunter, we'll personally help you along. We can't take everyone at once, but if one or two people want to join as at a time we'll be all right with that. We'll teach you. We'll take you on the job with us. We'll make sure that if you decide to do this, you do it as prepared as we can possibly make you. Look back. Re-read that last sentence. Prepared as we can possibly make you. Now continue.
One hunt? It's nothing. Two? Still doesn't change anything. Three, four, five? Nada. The truth is, you can spend an entire lifetime hunting and you'll still wake up not knowing what in the hell you're doing. Which is also why we're suggesting that if you guys decide to do this, you do it with someone that you can trust. Ask someone to come with you. Someone strong, dependable, capable. Hunting isn't a game. It's work. Hard work. Good, smart, very talented Hunters die every day trying to stop those things that go bump in the night - don't underestimate anything for a single second. Obviously, we can't make you partner up and go at it. But if I had the choice? I would. And that is why anyone if anyone does who agrees to go with us will have to follow a few rules. Sticking with Dean and I when we're hunting? It's the biggest one. We won't let anyone wander off only to get themselves hurt or worse. I'm sorry, but we've seen too much death on the job. If you can't stick with us, you can't come with us. Plain and simple.
The other, and the only one that's really important enough to bring up right now, is that you have to be of age. Anyone under the age of eighteen? Sorry, we can't teach you. Starting young isn't bad, but I understand why Dean Fuck, I used to think like that Just kids
If this doesn't interest you, feel free to scroll past. We just thought that we'd put the idea out there.
