Who: Needy and OPEN
What: Being somewhere aside from the apartments.
Where: Out for a walk.
When: Night time, a couple hours after her post.

The only thing Needy cared about as she walked down the street was being anywhere but the apartments. She had to get as far away from that girl as she could, or at least as far as she could walk, because just bolting would probably look really freaking bad considering the face that had just showed up.

And yes, The Face. Because it wasn't the girl that bothered her, it was the fact that she looked like Jennifer. Thanks to Danny showing up looking like Sam she had already come to accept that sometimes people showed up that looked like other people. But she didn't want anyone showing up looking like Jennifer, she would have taken anyone but her. And Needy didn't want to end up snapping and attacking Shay if she saw her. Sometimes she saw people that weren't really there, and Jennifer was almost always in the bunch. Most of the time Needy could ignore them, but other times... not so much. She didn't want to end up being around Shay when she thought she was just seeing things again.

And that was what took her down the street that night. She wasn't going anywhere in particular, and even though she had been snagged not too long ago being out there was preferable to being near Shay, even if she wasn't in the same room as her. But at least she knew to stick to somewhat populated areas and headed towards one of the areas with lots of bars and shops.

Cal had been out for a run, he'd gotten back into the swing of that after the first few nights after he'd woken up. Mostly because it had taken him that long to get bored.

He'd been headed home when he saw a familiar face, turning around to fall into step beside Needy, "You're outside without a cadre." He said, only bordering on being out of breath, "That's new. Everything okay?"

Needy knew who it was before she even looked over thanks to his voice (and, okay, so maybe he had a different scent from most people). But when she did look at him her face was, well, oddly blank. "Yeah, no, I'm fine," she said, shrugging a little before going back to watching where she was walking.

"I just needed some air is all. There's a new girl at the building that really creeps me out." And that was probably one of her top five understatements of the year.

	"Just... anywhere but there, really," she shrugged a little before chewing on her lip. "Oh, hey, so I'm going hunting with Sam and Dean next time they head out." And what with Needy going and Shay staying, he'd probably meet her pretty easily. He just nodded, "Good, I mean, not good that there's already something that needs to be taken down, but good that you've got something to do. I've been thinking I'll just head back to work, already ran out of things to do and I'm feeling better."

His nightmares were as bad as ever, but that was nothing new, they were almost a comfort now, really.

"I don't know that they've found anything yet. But, when they do I'm going," she nodded a little. "I just kinda want to punch things or something right now, so it'll help. Probably. Claire, the one that healed you when we got back to the building that day, she's going, too. But hey, if you're that bored you could always ask if they want to have a third tagging along." She grinned just slightly at that and bumped her shoulder against Cal as they walked.

"I'm glad you're feeling better though."

"I'm pretty sure Sam's scared that I'm going to run off and do something stupid. He was talking to me like I'm five on the boards," she said, rolling her eyes. "Complete with following statements with things like 'We wouldn't want that now, would we?'" Really, she thought it was ridiculous when he did that.

She looked over at him then, the slight grin still on his face. "Well, hopefully I won't end up getting myself killed so that you can sit around going 'I should have gone.'"

	There was one of his usual almost-there smiles, the kind that were actually more honest than his full smiles, "Hey, me either, so my treat." Granted, he hadn't had ice cream because ice cream usually meant George, and with George kidnapped... he stopped that line of thought right there, holding the door open for her with a mock bow, "After you." "Thanks," Needy said simply, laughing a little at his fake bow as she walked into the shop. It really had been a long time since she'd had ice cream. They didn't really offer it at the asylum, what with supposedly wanting them to eat healthy (if what they were fed could have actually been considered to be healthy), and she hadn't thought to get any since showing up in Lawrence. So really, it was more of a... normal food for her. From back when she was normal and her life was normal.

She headed to the counter to look at the flavors. "Man, there's a lot to pick from," she said, grinning a little before finally deciding that, being as it was late, she was getting the coffee flavor.

	"Usually how it works." He said with a nod, eying the selection himself, finally settling on a fudge mint chip. "I like cones," He explained once they had their ice cream in hand, "Because there are so few foods where you can eat the dishes too. Pretty much just ice cream and clam chowder." "Oh, shut up," Needy smiled, bumping her shoulder against Cal's once more before plopping down in a chair. "I haven't even been inside of an ice cream shop in over a year, so I've got reason here."

She had also gone for the cone, actually, just because she could. But after he said that about being able to eat the dish, she nodded. "Don't forget any soup you can get at Atlanta Bread Company. If you order them in a bread bowl, that is. And if they still do the bread bowls."

	"Hey, we've already had a conversation about the awesome that is junk food once. Hot dogs are good, but chili cheese fries are still my favorite.
