For 28 years she had basked in the victory that the curse had given her. Every single citizen of fairytale land under her thumb in Storybrooke. Not a soul remembering who they were. Loved ones and families ripped apart. Her words to Snow before the curse swept them away had been truthful. This was her happy ending. But underlying that victory was the void that Maleficent had told her would exist. A void that no matter what she did could not be entirely filled. Raising Henry had patched the void until things had changed. He began to pull away from her taking away the one thing that had helped, his innocent love. It was all ripped away by his firm belief in the book of fairytales he had been given. Regina cursed the day that Mary Margaret, Snow, had given her son that book. Emma Swan coming to town had just continued the downward spiral. Causing her to lash out and use every trick in the book to be rid of her. However, nothing ever worked until the day she sacrificed the last piece of magic and Daniel that she had left. With that magic Jefferson had been able to retrieve the apple she'd used to poison Snow.

The turnover, given as a parting gift, would ensure that she would remain victorious. But all magic comes with a price. Instead of Emma eating the turnover, Henry had, and had succumbed to the affects of the sleeping curse. From there saving her son was all that mattered and striking a deal with Gold was their only option. But Gold had tricked the both of them into retrieving the potion and awakening Henry had been as simple as true loves kiss. Though she was overjoyed that Henry was alive due to Emma's kiss so too had the curse over the town been lifted. She only hoped that Henry believed her when she told him that she loved him. So many times in the past had she said it but not until that moment was it the most genuine she had been for many years. Fleeing the hospital had been her only choice as everyone would be out for blood. In the comforts of her own home, resting on Henry's bed, did she finally allow the tears to fall. Regina knew that she had been defeated and would be powerless to stop anyone from harming her when they came after her. A sight out of the corner of her eye caused her to rise from Henry's bed and approach the window. On the horizon was a purple cloud that brought a smirk to her face. It wasn't over yet because magic was coming to Storybrooke. As the cloud passed over her she laughed. A laugh that ended the moment the purple smoke had disappeared. Regina turned around and took in her surroundings. Storybrooke was gone. In its place was somewhere she hadn't ever been. Standing in the middle of nowhere, she screamed in anger. "Noo!" As magic had entered town it had transported her somewhere else. She could feel the tingle of her magic within her and closed her eyes summoning the power to teleport. When she didn't feel the usual tug of being transported she opened her eyes and realized that nothing had happened. With a look of abject horror on her face, Regina screamed again. When she found Rumpel she was going to kill him for this. For now she let out an angry sigh when she was done screaming and began walking. Eventually she would find someone who would give her the answers she sought.

"Kansas?" Regina said more to herself than to the girl before her. Kansas was far away from her little town in Maine. Clear across the country if she was remembering the little geography that she had studied in the last 28 years.

Sighing she felt a little relief in knowing that whatever Gold had done after he'd tricked them hadn't brought on what she thought. No, she was just transported halfway across the country as a result of what she'd thought was magic. But if it had been so she would have been able to use it. It would take some negotiating but all she needed was to find the nearest airport or car and begin the drive back to her town. If she remained gone for too long god only knew what would happen. Everyone had awoken, their memories returned, and there were quite a few people in town that had the potential to harm Henry.

"Somewhere miles away from here. Dear, can you point me in the direction of the nearest airport or car service? I really must be getting back to Maine."

Maine. That was where Storybrooke was if Belle was recalling things correctly. Which just seemed to solidify the theory that she had already made that she was from there. Oh anyone could be from Maine, but again, it went back to the fact that she looked familiar to the teen who didn't know who actors were because she preferred books. So Belle would keep going on her hunch that the woman was from the world of the fairytale characters stuck in the real world, a curse. To the people related to them.

She seemed relieved in a way, even though it wasn't where she was supposed to be. Like this made sense in a way. Well, what Belle was about to tell her really wasn't going to go over well. She might not know who she was dealing with, and while Henry and Enjolras had handled it well, taking it as much in stride as possible, well, she knew that wasn't always the case. It was always going to be difficult to explain this place, but she would do what she could like she always did. While making sure to get the information she needed. The familiarity was unsettling to Belle. Snow White had shown up. Red Ridinghood was here as was Belle and there weren't that many brunettes in it Henry's book of fairytales.

"I... I'm sorry, getting back to Maine is not really an option. You were brought here by one of the Seals of Hell..."

And time to appear crazy but well, there wasn't really much that could be done. Usually if people were used to magic they clearly weren't from here and those who weren't could usually soon realize that this made no sense, there was no other way.

Her relief was pleasant while it lasted. But like everything that mattered in her life it was short lived. The girls' next words immediately set her on edge. "Not an option!? Seals of Hell!?" Regina said with an air of agitation in her voice. Pinching the bridge of her nose she tried to get herself under control. It wouldn't serve to lose it in the middle of the streets of Lawrence, Kansas. As far as she could remember she'd never heard of the Seals of Hell.

Having her curse broken and her son taken away from her was her own personal hell. It had been all that mattered for so long. "I'm sorry, dear. I didn't mean to well lash out like that. What exactly is this Seal of Hell?" And she truly was sorry if she had frightened the girl. The whole situation was beyond anything that she could comprehend. The only time that she had felt this unsure was after she'd told Snow her secret and she had been right. The little brat had been unable to keep her secret and had led to her losing the one person that she'd loved. She'd never loved anyone as much as she loved, Daniel. Her love for Henry being the only thing to come close.

Taking a quick look around she observed what little there was to see before adding, "I'm Regina, by the way." If she was going to be stuck here for a length of time she might as well get to know people. And getting to know people entailed knowing their name and them knowing hers as well.

While mostly people might be scared by the lashing out, Belle was just more wary than anything. She still had her memories of how the Beast had been, how angry and how convinced she was that he'd kill her. She also had other Belle's words, asking if she had gotten to know him beneath it all. Which was, well, given that day, it still made logical sense why she had reacted as she had. So if the anger lasted longer than comfortable, Belle would find an escape strategy. But it was short lived and so she just nodded. After all, it wasn't every day someone finds out they have no way home and were brought here by the Seals of Hell.

"Its fine, I know its a lot to take in." Folding her hair behind her ear, Belle was about to continue on when she got the name. Of all the people she had found. She had to find Regina. Normally it wouldn't be a matter. Or it wouldn't have been if she hadn't been close to Emma and Henry. But she knew that she had caused pain in their lives. And she now realized the reason she looked familiar was because she was the Evil Queen in Henry's book. Which meant she should really figure out a course of action as she knew the Complex was undoubtedly out of the question and there really was no reason to take her there only for her to get kicked out. Okay. Headache. But first... answering questions.

"Belle.... as for what they are, they come from the Christian Bible. Lucifer was locked in a cage by sixty six seals. They got broken somehow, one of which has the ability to bring people from different times and places and even worlds."

Saying her name was probably dangerous given other Belle but it was pretty obvious they weren't one and the same. Besides, she had left the door open to discuss the different worlds thing if necessary. She'd be fine. She knew that Regina was clever and dangerous, and while Belle really did prefer reading to interacting with people as they tended to have mindless conversations, she was still fast on her feet when it came to figuring things out and assessing a situation.

It was more than a lot but she wasn't going to say anything on else on the matter. All throughout Belle's description of what the Seals of Hell were Regina kept looking her up and down. This girl was obviously not her Belle as she hadn't known who she was when they first happened upon one another. Nevertheless hearing the name Belle brought back memories of the girl she'd locked up in her dungeon and in the asylum in Storybrooke.

"Different worlds?" She was no stranger to the concept of different worlds. In fairytale land she'd used Jefferson to take her to Wonderland. A land very different than her own. The hat capable of traveling to different lands but not without its own set of rules. The same amount of people who went through the hat must come back through. A rule she had once used to her advantage trapping Jefferson in Wonderland until she cast the curse pulling him through with everyone else. Storybrooke had also been a different land than her own. A land without magic and happy endings. A land where she would reign victorious over everyone. Until even that had failed. Somehow she figured that the "different worlds" that Belle was referring to had nothing to do with what she was thinking of. It was something entirely different.

Of course it was completely different. Because this wasn't Regina's world. This was the world of the Winchesters and the assorted few who came from here. But everyone else? Well, that was something else all together. Worlds, planets, times. It was hard to explain but she also knew enough about Regina to know she at least understood the concept of magic so while she really wasn't excited by the fact she was the one to find the woman, knowing that it would cause those she considered friends to be upset, well, she at least didn't have to worry about being called insane and ignored. So, there was that at least.

Thank goodness for small favors and all that.

As such, the teen nodded, folding her hair behind her ear.

"Some people come from worlds that most would consider fictional. People from books or television shows or movies or comics.... To them, their world is real, but to the majority of others, it is not. It is a work of fiction, something of entertainment."

She purposefully left out the idea of fairytales. Yes, she knew it was implied but she really didn't want to divulge that those from Storybrooke were here, at least not in specifics. And well, there was her and Ariel, so they were technically from fairytales. And the one woman, Cindy? Belle didn't know. Either way, they all were considered fairytale characters yet not as Regina knew t hem to be.

There was a tiny part of her that worried Regina would decide to do something to her just because of her name and not giving her the way home but honestly, she had no say in the matter. She just needed to let her know the basic principle of the situation at hand and then figure out where she could stay because the Complex was clearly out of the question. It was just.. figuring out the rest that she needed to worry about.

Regina listened as Belle spoke confusion settling in. There were so many questions that she wanted to ask but she could tell how worried the girl was. Years of seeing it manifested in others allowed for her to pick on the small clues. It wasn't just the kind of weird one felt when approaching a stranger. No, this was something much different. Since she had mentioned her name she wondered if the girl knew who she was. The continued worried behavior being emitted from the girl all but answered that speculation for her. If in fact she did know that she was the Evil Queen than it was possible that there were people from her world residing in Lawrence.

"I see, dear. It is quite a troubling situation." Regina said keep her eye trained on the girl in front of her. Up until this point she had been helpful in describing the situation that she knew found herself in. But, Regina had reached her breaking point. For her it had only been mere hours ago that Henry had died in the hospital only to be awoken by True Loves Kiss. A kiss that had broken her spell and then magic returned. If she was to be stuck here she needed to find someplace to stay. Though she could hold her own in a fight she was essentially powerless against people. "I think we both know that you know who I am. The question is what do you plan to do with me?"

Or Regina could straight up ask what she planned to do with her. Which.. Belle really didn't have a course of action even planned. She didn't say as such, after all, even if this woman was dangerous, didn't she at least deserve to know the situation? Did anyone truly deserve to be left to the dangers of this place without proper understanding?

"Right now? I plan to answer questions and inform you of the entire situation if you still want the answers. Then we can go to the internet cafe to at least get in touch with someone who can help. These are not my decisions to make. I am just one person and there are far more people here than just me."

Shrugging, Belle canted her head to the side.

"So what course of action do you want to take?"

Was it dangerous? Perhaps. But right now she was more concerned on at least protecting the identity of those who were here from Regina's world. She clearly figured it out, if she had figured out Belle knew who she was. Nor was it like she was going to lie and pretend she didn't know. But she wasn't going to lie about the situation.

"What is going on here is important to know and I can answer those questions easily. But only if you want me to."
