Who: Moriarty and Gaia
What: Drug pass-off and nefarious plotting. Really, nothing to see here. Move along!
When: Right now
Where: Suspicious looking opium den...as Briege says :P
Warning: Drugs, language, Moriarty being Moriarty, nudity and sexual content on Gaia's part
After committing the address Moriarty had given her to memory, she stood up and made herself presentable. Not that she was currently in disarray, but she felt she should wear something a little more suitable for not sticking out like a sore thumb. After all, the last thing she wanted to do was get on Moriarty's bad side. She really was under his thumb because as of this current moment, she had no where else to get her drugs from and no means to pay for them. She certainly hoped to rectify the fact she had no money in the near future, but she would come back to that topic later. Right now, she went to her closet and pulled out a dark red dress. As was her style, it was low-cut in the front, but the skirt on this one was long, giving her the air of a lady. Which she actually was, she was upper class in Roman society. Not that such a thing meant anything here, but she liked holding her place close to her. Slipping on a pair of gold high heels, she went into her bathroom, spending time to do her make-up and hair. She kept her make-up on the lighter side, not going too heavy-handed on it. When she came to her hair, she thought about pinning it up with some of her gold hair pins, but then she remembered who she was meeting. No doubt she'd be in an area of the city where the less-than-savory types hung out. So not too much gold. Gaia pulled her dark hair up into a ponytail, having started to get used to the simpler hairstyles of this age. She then slid her rings onto both of her middle fingers and put a necklace on. Deeming herself ready, she grabbed her purse and headed off to meet Moriarty.
Really, Gaia disliked having to go do this herself and not have a slave she could send out in her place, but she wasn't going to complain. After all, she both wanted and needed the drugs, so she would do what she needed to do get them. The last thing she needed was to go into opium withdrawal and not have anyone other than Moriarty know what was happening to her at first. And she didn't go around telling everyone she did drugs. In fact, she was fairly certain she'd only told Irene, and Galen had deduced she was high in their encounter. She didn't care if people knew she did drugs, but she didn't go flaunting the fact around for all to see. Sometimes such a fact came in handy when most people weren't aware of it. Now it was just a matter of what exactly Moriarty would ask of her in return for the drugs. Truth be told, she would do pretty much anything. About the only thing she was iffy on was killing someone. Gaia wasn't a killer. Schemer and manipulator, yes. But killer? No. So the entire way to the address Moriarty had given her, her mind was turning with those thoughts.
Eventually, she arrived at the address. Even though her dress was not fancy or ornate, Gaia still felt a bit overdressed for the area of the city she was in. Though it couldn't be helped, she preferred dresses to pants. But she acted just as if she belonged there, which she sort of did. At the moment, she had no drugs in her system. She liked to be completely in control of her mind and body in these sorts of situations. She really didn't like getting caught off-guard when she had drugs in her system and was in a slightly dangerous part of town. Approaching the door, she hadn't even needed to knock when the little window slid open.
"Yes?" A man asked.
"I am Gaia. Mister Moriarty is expecting me." Her English was still heavily accented, but it was getting better with practice. The little window closed and the door opened a few moments later.
"Follow me," he said. Gaia stepped inside and after the door was shut and locked behind her, the man led her through the opium den. She didn't bother to look anywhere except straight ahead. Her breeding was clearly showing in this case, but she didn't need to see what was going on around her. She knew what went on in opium dens. Eventually, they came to a room. The man opened the door and motioned her to enter. Upon doing so, she found Moriarty within.
"Greetings, Mister Moriarty," Gaia greeted with a smile. After all, there was always time for pleasantries.
