Anakin felt bad for Mara. She showed up and the drama exploded. If their family was anymore dramatic then it already was they were going to need a daytime tv special. It could be called Shrinking the Solo's or something to that effect. Then that would pose a new worry, what shrink could withstand their drama without feeling threatened or potentially being reduced into brain goo? There was also the matter of Alema's lightsaber. Mara wanted two, Anakin had two. One of which he would never be able to properly use without remembering how he obtained it and the emotional distress it caused. Perhaps Mara could break it down and put it to better use then him. It was set up in his mothers home as a sort of memorial in his room. Alema hadn't always been horrible. There was once a time Anakin considered her and her sister a friend. She deserved at least that much in his eyes.
Mara would probably see it differently, as would many others. He didn't much care. Nope. Instead he was going to pick up his aunt and introduce her to the world of soft pretzels and tea. It seemed she had Jaina's sweet tooth, so maybe a candy store included. Anakin had never really been too keen on sweets though, he preferred salty or sour. Chinese food was right up that alley. Chinese could be healthy at times couldn't it? It often included some form of vegetables, most of which he ate and even enjoyed a little. So what that he was a picky eater. Earth food was strange even after a year there were still certain things he would not touch with a ten foot pole.
Knocking at Jaina's door, he waited. He knew both of them would sense him so honestly knocking was a bit strange, but on Earth it was customary. Mara needed to learn Earth customs anyway, he would help. She had always been one of his favorite people. Being related to Uncle Luke in any fashion really earned a golden spot in Anakin's eyes. In his eyes Luke could do little wrong. He was the perfect Jedi, no matter what Jacen thought of him. Anakin would always see him as a hero and a role model.
