Dick had just returned from his little vacation with Clark that had been meant to clear his head. It really had done wonders. Had he stayed in Kansas any longer with the Bruce and Jason issues going on he might have exploded from drama. Something had to give and if it wasn't going to be one of them, it was going to be him. The mountain air had done good in helping him clear the negative energy. He felt more like himself then he had in weeks since arrival. It'd been nearly a non stop drama drowning with the Joker and Harley, and then with Bruce and Jason. There was only so much one guy could take. Now however he seemed at peace. He was comfortably dressed in the kitchen complex, wearing a pair of sweats and a wife beater and preparing tea that he'd brought back from the mountain pass.
He couldn't help but wonder where Damian was. It'd been a while since he heard from his kid brother. He actually found himself wanting to spend time with him which was rare in itself. When Damian had first arrived back home he'd been less then thrilled to have another sibling wearing the Robin title. Now Damian had grown into it, come so far from the snotty little ten year old boy he knew and didn't love so much. He cared about others and carried the title well on his own right. Dick was proud to have him wear it, even if it was a little odd that Robin was a name given to him and passed through the Bat Family. Robin had been given to him by his mother and Bruce kind of adopted it. He wasn't sure whether or not to be honored or conflicted, so he just stuck with neutral.
His eyes were tired as he watched the tea pot warm up on the stove. "Watched Pots never boil Master Grayson." He could practically hear Alfred's voice in the back of his mind, but still that didn't stop him from waiting. He was impatient.
