It was understandable that Mara was still uneasy with things. Oh she didn't have trouble adjusting to finding herself in the middle of a war as she'd just been in one in her home. It was more adjusting to the strange world, having Anakin here and alive, herself being alive, and everything Jacen had told her. It was hard to take all of it in, but she was doing better than she had been. Sort of. No doubt if she wasn't currently staying with Jaina, she might have fallen apart completely. But having her niece there, her former apprentice, was comforting. It was something familiar, something that helped balance her. That and meditating. Mara had taken to meditation to try and keep herself centered, to keep herself from giving into the anger she felt towards Jacen. She knew she had every right to be angry. After all, he killed her and then put her own son through the Embrace of Pain to try and turn him to the dark side. All the lies, the deceptions, so much had happened between them that she knew she could never forgive him for. But they had managed to talk, to get those things said so they could try and co-exist. Mara wasn't the type to just let bad blood sit between herself and someone else and pretend it didn't exist or ignore it. No, she faced things head on, much as she had in this situation.
When Galen had asked to train with her, she had been surprised, but was more than happy to do so. Again, training would be something familiar and not only would she be able to teach Galen the things she knew, but she could keep her own talents honed. Though she knew she'd need to make a new lightsaber, having lost her shorter one. She did need the second one as part of her fighting style, but for now she could do without it. It wouldn't make much of a difference anyway, not unless she'd need to get into specifics for Galen, and she wasn't even sure if it would be a style suited to him yet.
Glancing at the clock, she made certain she had her lightsaber and her blaster, making sure to conceal them from plain sight. After letting Jaina know where she was going, she headed off. It wasn't that hard getting around Lawrence, it was just mostly making sure she knew the streets and could find her way to and from a place. Luckily she'd become familiar with the places around Jaina's place, so that wasn't so difficult anymore. She navigated her way to the address Galen had given her, checking the address twice just to ensure she had the right place. She then made her way into the building. Her long red hair was left loose, but she had a tie around one wrist in case it got too bothersome to her. She glanced around, looking for Galen, while also taking in the space there. It was a good sized area, suitable to training. It was no Jedi Academy, but she couldn't be picky in this situation.
