Who: Kon and Connor! What: early afternoon burgers When:today Where:The lobby and then a burger joint. Warnings: I don't foresee any!
He'd hardly seen Connor since he apparently returned from the dead. Part of him was glad, and the other part was not pleased at all. He was unsure of how to react to a death he didn't remember. Clark wanted him to talk about it, Allana was happy to let him sink back into normalcy, and Tess was suddenly demanding his attention. He couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed. He felt like he owed them all some kind of apology, but it was hard finding the words. How could he apologize for a thing he didn't remember?
The last thing he remembered was fighting Clark, and he didn't want to talk about that either. That was a nightmare in it's own right. It reminded him all too much of fighting Superboy Prime. When he remembered that fight, he couldn't recall the outcome there either. Had he died then too? A small sigh escaped his lips as he waited in the lobby for his friend to show up. His arms folded casually over a light blue hoodie, he leaned against a wall in thought. Very little of it was good thought. Most of it was enough to give him a screaming headache, but it was a feeling he couldn't shake.
He'd been fairly quiet since he had come back to life. He never had been as talkative as his sidekick girlfriend, but brooding wasn't his style either on a typical basis. It was more of a Bat thing. Kon found himself wondering about the alternative versions of team Anti Apocalypse and where they'd gone on their little "break." He found lately he was doing more internal questioning then he had in the past. It was a strange feeling for him. For most people it was probably a good change, but Kon really wasn't sure what it was yet.
