Coffee. That was the first thought that entered her brain, when Paige rolled onto her back and winced at the evil light demon-called the sun-that had it's evil little ray things blast into her face. With a sound of displeasure, she covered her head with a pillow but the evil light demon had already taken it's affect and there was just no way that she was going back to sleep. Which sucked because she didn't even have to work today. Grumbling low, but rather coherently, she couldn't think of a viable reason why it would be bad to vanquish the sun. Not that she was in the mental capacity to recgonize the fact that one couldn't vanquish or block the sun. At least not without good magic. And the potential logistics of that with any magics just made her brain hurt.

Sliding her feet into a slipper, Paige just remembered to grab the robe and slide into it, wrapping the straps against her waist as she walked down the hall and then down the stairs into the kitchen. It had taken some doing, but she was slowly reminding herself that she no longer lived a lone or with her sisters. Some people would appreciate robes. Sure she just had the bottoms of a pyjama pants and a tank top, but meh ... some people were unusually picky and Paige wasn't the nicest in the morning. She would rather avoid nagging if she could help it. She hardly ever listened to it from her sisters, though she did take it; chances of her taking it from a complete stranger weren't very high.

Entering the kitchen, she stiffled a yawn, and headed straight to where the coffee and it's filter was. Might as well make enough for everyone. And a good two cups for herself.

Andrew hardly ever slept in any more. That old habit of his had gotten worked out of him when he started having to get up bright and early to get to training the slayers in his care, and even though the only two slayers here in Lawrence didn't exactly need training any more, he just couldn't shake the habit.

He was already in the kitchen when Paige came in, standing by the stove and cracking some eggs open into a pan. "Morning," he said with a grin after a quick look over his shoulder to see who had come in. "I'm making scrambled eggs. Want some?" The lest he could do was be nice, they all lived together after all. And even though Andrew hadn't exactly spoken to Paige all that much, he still knew who she was and thought she seemed nice enough.

Paige gave Andrew a Look. He was unusually peppy and chipper. In general. And while chipper tended to make her raise her eyebrows, especially when it was insistant, she could deal with them. After all Piper could be the Queen of Chipper when she was in a good enough mood. Yet it was morning and she hadn't had her coffee yet.

Paige just nodded, not really paying him attention. Not saying anything would keep her from saying something sarcastic and maybe mean. She was super grumpy in the mornings. She had sisters and a future nephew who could attest to that. It was almost a complete change in demeanor to the friendly woman Andrew'd met once when they'd first been looking at the unfinished apartments.

Andrew wasn't really bothered by her lack of words, he was used to that sort of thing in the mornings after living with lots of girls for so long. But he did take her nod as a yes, as he should, and added a couple more eggs into the pan.

"You're up early," he said simply as he stirred at what was still just, well, slime when you get down to it. But that would change eventually. He hadn't seen too many other people up yet that morning, but it was good to have someone to talk to, even if Paige didn't seem to want to talk all that much just yet. Maybe she would once she had woken up more.

"What clued you into that?" Paige asked, tone dry as she dumped coffee into the filter paper. "It wouldn't happen to be the fact that I'm walking around at a time normal people would be asleep, now would it?" So much for holding her tongue.

Putting the cup in and the water into the machiene she set everything up and waited for her coffee.
