Entry tags:allana solo, kon-el/superboy

Who: Kon, Allana, Cade, Clark, basically anyone at Cades house!
What: stupid boy was stupid and did not go to the doctor.
When: Tonight.
Where:Cade's house.
Warnings: TBA!

Kon had so many worries for a kid his age. Add ontop of that a trip to the doctor he wasn't supposed to visit, and he was a virtual wreck. Fortunately he didn't have very long to panic and run away. The poison in his system had been there over night, festering and causing all kinds of problems internally. Kon had been unaware. He told Clark he didn't bleed very much, and it was true. By the time he, Allana, and Burt had gone their separate ways at the complex the wound he'd received was already healed and gone. He took it as a sign and shrugged it off. Only when he'd gotten into his apartment did he realize that his jacket was stained in blood. It was odd and a little worrisome, but Clark had told him the wound was gone. It should be fine. He'd gone to sleep thinking he'd wake up rested and strong in the morning. It was completely the opposite.

When he woke up in said morning everything was hazy. Opening his eyes had been a daunting task. Staying awake for Clark and Allana was next to impossible and eventually he caved to the sleep that threatened. He slept the entire flight to Cade's, and then even longer while the healing process went on. It was nearly midnight when his eyes finally opened and he got a blurry look at his new surroundings. The last thing he remembered was face planting the keyboard but his computer wasn't near by. He shifted and stirred, his hand reaching to attempt to scrub the sleep from his eyes.

He was disoriented and his body felt like a brick. Kon wasn't the type to be slow and sluggish, as he constantly reminded Allana. His super speed was a prized attribute to him. The fact that he felt like he couldn't even move his arm was troubling. His adrenaline shifted into high gear and he attempted to sit up. The world around him spun out and protested.

When he tried to get up there was a hand blocking him, and for a split second it worried him slightly. Doctors didn't like patients moving after procedures. Was he in some kind of hospital? But then his eyes focused more and he heard Allana's voice. Shifting slightly to look at her more closely and his surroundings, he could tell that she was telling him the truth. There were no white walls or test tubes that he could see. No scientists hovering over him with their stupid bright lights, and best of all no Luthor. So instead of fighting the hand he eased back down to rest.

"Never been healed. " He mumbled and rested his arm on his forehead in attempt to make the room stop spinning. "Things don't normally pierce my skin. " Normal needles for example would not have done a damn thing. They would have just broken on contact. Not even metal phased him, whatever that poison was made out of was ridiculously strong. "You carried me here?" He was sure this wasn't the complex, it was too big. The rooms were larger judging based on what he could actually focus on. Which unfortunately wasn't much. "Could be shot and still unaffected" His voice was quiet and tired, fighting off an unnatural poison had left him exhausted.

Kon actually to be aware enough to recognize her voice and Allana exhaled in relief as he settled back onto the bed, where they’d placed him earlier, of his own volition. A combination of her, Cade, and Clark would have been enough to subdue the other teenager if he were still delirious and hell-bent on getting up before he was ready, but the idea of freaking him out even more wasn’t an appealing one and, besides, if he was cognizant of his surroundings it was a good sign that the healing had taken. Cade was pretty much the best healer in Lawrence and Allana didn’t doubt her cousin’s skills, but Kon apparently had some whole cryptic ‘potential science experiment’ thing going on and some small corner of her brain had worried that it somehow included being Force-resistant. She realized, abruptly, that her hand was still on his shoulder and that she was staring at him with her brow furrowed, looking for some signs of a second wave of sneaky killik poison, and she snatched her hand back quickly before straightening from her crouch to take a seat on the edge of the bed. “You’re in one of the guest bedrooms at my cousin’s place,” she reminded him in response to his confused muttering and glances around the room. She was about to go on but his voice got stronger and she paused to listen to what she could make out of said muttering:

"You carried me here?...Could be shot and still unaffected"

“Yes,” she deadpanned, “I threw your giant killik-poisoned self over my shoulder and took a leisurely stroll through bug-infested Lawrence because I figured, you know, what’s the hurry? You were only unconscious and possibly no longer breathing. Because, you know, guns don’t hurt you so clearly this entirely unrelated injury and poison was nothing to worry about at all. That makes so much sense don’t you think? Oh wait, that was apparently your actual logic.” Her tone had steadily strayed away from deadpan as the sarcasm ramped up and by the time she had reached her conclusion she was sitting ramrod straight with her arms crossed, glaring down at him.

Some of the things he said probably weren't making much sense. Kon wasn't really paying much attention to her reaction. He couldn't even think straight to himself, so he doubted Allana was getting what he was trying to tell her. He was resistant to most things, but apparently the healing took. Which surprised him, despite the lack of surprised emotion written on his face. He was too drained to be surprised. It almost felt equivalent to small doses of kryptonite being knocked out by poison. So he knew he wasn't going to hear the end of it. It was very possible that Kon wasn't the most careful teenager in history, but being nearly invincible had that effect. He didn't have to be as careful as most, at least that was his attitude. Ontop of that there was the fact that he was a clone. At times the way he thought of himself was more of a thing then a person that could be re altered if need be. He'd even referred to himself as property at one point. Bella had intensely corrected him, but there were times he just didn't think ahead like a normal kid despite image and appearance because of his history.

"Nothing usually hurts me. " He sighed exasperatedly and rubbed at his eyes, lowering his arm down to his side He didn't know what to say to her sarcasm just yet, he was still focusing on being conscious more then he was coming up with a witty retort. "Kryptonians have pretty thick skin. " Was the best he could manage at the time with a shrug. "I didn't think it would even be able to cut me. Not much can." Whatever Allana's bugs were made of, it was something he would have to start thinking about. If they cut him once they could do it again. Next time the girl might not be as sympathetic when it came to healing him.

"Look I'm sorry. " He frowned slightly. "It won't happen again. " He wished there was such a thing as super Asprin sometimes, his head was throbbing. Normal Asprin did nothing, the downside of being super.

Allana was still glaring, arms crossed and lips thinned slightly, as she enacted her best combined imitation of Leia Solo and Tenel Ka Djo, her mouth twisted to the side to stop herself from speaking in a more unconscious imitation of Jaina when she was trying, for once, to hold back a bit of sarcasm. It was an expression that, back in her own reality, Han Solo had informed his wife proudly, was “shaping up to be a Solo-worthy glare.” She gave it her full concentration now, except for the space in her mind that was occupied with thinking up new retorts to his confused muttering. After all, the angrier she was the less she noticed the way her usually cocky friend was too exhausted to come up with any kind of defense or even move very quickly, the way he didn’t even seem awake enough to care about his rather pathetic retorts even though the poison was gone.

Unfortunately, Jedi were trained to recognize their emotions, to control and to deal with them. She might be angry that Kon had been foolish enough not to tell anyone he was feeling the effects of the poison until it had come close to being too late, but she couldn’t pretend anger was all it was. Her expression softened infinitesimally, the corners of her mouth drawing down slightly and her eyes dropping to her own hands so that she looked more stern than furious. I am not scared, she told herself, I am mad. Not mad that he scared me. Mad that he is a moron.

“It better not happen again,” she muttered in response to his apology, “and if anything like this ever does happen again you will tell someone instead of ignoring it until you’re an unconscious pile of stupid.” Her tone made it clear he wasn’t out of the doghouse, so to speak, quite yet but when he winced she reached out without hesitation and laid her fingertips gently on his temple. He was resistant to mind control, she knew that, and so she didn’t try to mind trick him or press him back into sleep but concentrated on the healing part of the Force to sooth some of the pain. Healing had never been her forte as it required too much patience, too much precise knowledge, and too much time to second guess yourself unless you had one of those natural, intensely powerful talents like Cade’s, but the light side of the Force was encouraged by feelings of protectiveness and by good intentions. It could be easier, sometimes, to heal a friend.

“You deserve the headache you know,” she informed him, trying to keep up the sternness, “you’re lucky I’m supposed to get some practice in on pain relief.”
