Who: Bonnie Bennett & Elphaba Thropp
When: February 17, 2011 (Backdated to after this!)
Where: Their House of Awesome
What: Elphaba and Bonnie have an awkward.
Rating: PG-13 for nudity!

After finding the strings, beads, and bubble bath liquad that Bonnie had been telling Elphaba about, Bonnie grabbed a crutch and started up to Elphaba's room and bathroom at a hobble. It wasn't the best speed to go at, but it was the only speed she had until she healed. Which would never happen if she kept insisting on walking around on her own like this. But that wasn't the point. She was going to put all the shit that had been happening to her and her friends lately behind her for now and enjoy girly funtimes with El.

They both deserved it and they were going to get it even if she had to force Elphie into the bubble bath herself.

"El?" She said, rapping on the other witch's door with her knuckles before trying the door knob. "You ready for me? ...I totally did not mean to make that sound vaguely dirty like it did," she said with a snort and small giggle as she pushed open the door.

Most of the time Bonnie could claim to be one of the saner ones out of her group of friends. Now? Not so much. After all, she was in Elphie's bathroom, ready to shove her into a bubble bath so she could make friendship bracelets with the older witch. Random was cool, but Bonnie wasn't so random normally. And she was having fun, so she didn't mind so much.

"Mystic Falls is a small town, with some pretty old families. We've known each other since diapers, you know? We all kind of run in the same circles, so our families spoke to each other a lot. Same schools, same friends...it's a small town thing," Bonnie explained, as she opened up her bracelet making kit and started to fiddle around with the beads, picking out the ones she wanted for El's bracelet.

She giggled, closing her eyes and covering them with a hand. "Okay, go ahead. I won't peek," she promised. "So I really can't believe you've never had a bubble bath before. Did you ever have a sleepover? Because if not, we're doing that next."

The random was welcome right now. Elphaba had been a little more reclusive than usual recently, or at the very least less talkative. She'd had a lot on her mind, and had spent a lot of time in the library reading or just staying in her room. Of course, she did come out and talk to her roommates every so often just so they wouldn't come break down her door wondering if she was alive or not. When it came to brooding, Elphaba had a monopoly. She didn't really do perky or random, but when faced with it, she tended to just roll with it. She'd lived with Galinda long enough to know that going with the flow tended to just be easier.

Elphaba listened as Bonnie described Mystic Falls. It sounded like a nice place to live. It seemed to be so different from Munchkinland, yet at the same time, perhaps not too different. Though the childhood home Elphaba had known wasn't nearly as friendly to her as Bonnie's had been. "So you all were interconnected. Where is Mystic Falls?" While she wasn't from this world, Elphaba had been getting to know her geography, especially of the United States. Even now, Elphaba still had a thirst for knowledge and studied up on things.

At hearing Bonnie question about having a sleepover, Elphaba paused in her undressing. She glanced over her shoulder at her younger friend for a moment before resuming what she'd been doing. "Unless having a roommate at school counts, no I haven't had a sleepover. I didn't have a friend until I was 20. Well, not a human friend anyway. All I did was take care of my sister." Again she paused, looking down at the floor. Elphaba felt so guilty for having turned her back on her sister and leaving her to die. Shaking her head, Elphaba quickly got rid of the rest of her clothes, then turned her attention to the bath full of bubbles. The darker, sadder thoughts quickly were pushed from her mind as she made a face, not wanting to get into the water. She wrapped her arms around her bare middle and wondered just how long she could stand there and get away with not getting in the tub.

She felt so guilty about forcing Elphaba to murder someone that she had been trying to do little things to make things easier on her friend. Tidying up the house as best as she could, putting fresh flowers up around the house, and making pancakes with the help of the monkeys whenever she could. If Elphaba hadn't made the effort to leave her room occasionally, Bonnie would have teamed up with Galinda to pull the older woman out of her funk as well. And even though Bonnie was making the effort to be nice to Galinda, she knew they had varying methods on how to make Elphaba feel better.

"Very interconnected," Bonnie said, swaying from side to side slightly as she sat with her eyes closed and hands over them. "You couldn't walk two steps without running into someone you knew. "We're from somewhere in Virginia, but the town doesn't exist in this world. We checked," Bonnie explained, remembering the awkward trip she had taken with Caroline and Damon way back when she had first arrived.

She managed to shut up for about two seconds to let Elphaba talk and felt herself getting sadder as she heard Elphaba explain her life. She knew her friend's life wasn't the happiest, but it always surprised just how much El hadn't experienced because of her circumstances. "Aw El!" She said, opening her eyes and not realizing she hadn't heard the splash to signal that El had entered the tub. "We're going to fix that for you. You have me now. Me, Galinda, Care, and Elena and...OH SORRY!" She said, shutting her eyes again and clasping her hands over them. "I didn't mean to look!"

Despite not ever really paying attention to decoration and the like, Elphaba had noticed the things Bonnie had been doing around the house lately. It was hard to miss the fresh flowers. And for some reason, the scent of fresh flowers always reminded Elphaba of her mother. She didn't quite know why they did, but she didn't mind it. She had also noticed that Galinda and Bonnie had been nicer to each other recently, which was both a little strange and a relief. She didn't like when her two friends fought over her. Sure, Elphaba had never before had more than one friend, but that didn't mean she was incapable of it.

"It is strange what things exist here that don't back home." Elphaba did miss the Emerald City. Until she'd come here, that had been the only place where she felt like she belonged. When Bonnie said Virgina, Elphaba thought a moment, recalling a map of the United States and where the state was located. "I'm sorry your home town doesn't exist here. But you aren't alone, mine's not here either. Though I wouldn't expect it to be." However, Elphaba did dislike the whole being in Kansas where that wretched little farm girl had been from.

Elphaba had never once complained about her life, only carried the burden of guilt that wasn't necessarily hers to carry. But it wasn't easy to be Elphaba, and she took everything quietly and held everything inside. Talking about herself wasn't easy for her, especially when it came to feelings that she held. At hearing Bonnie's words, she looked over her shoulder at her friend, a little smile tugging at her lips. "Thank you, though you really don't have to fix anything for me. Having friends is enough." And then she realized Bonnie's eyes were uncovered and she couldn't help but freak out a little. In reflex, she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself. If she had been degreened right then, it would be obvious that she was blushing. But since she was green, she just looked a bit sheepish.
