She felt so guilty about forcing Elphaba to murder someone that she had been trying to do little things to make things easier on her friend. Tidying up the house as best as she could, putting fresh flowers up around the house, and making pancakes with the help of the monkeys whenever she could. If Elphaba hadn't made the effort to leave her room occasionally, Bonnie would have teamed up with Galinda to pull the older woman out of her funk as well. And even though Bonnie was making the effort to be nice to Galinda, she knew they had varying methods on how to make Elphaba feel better.
"Very interconnected," Bonnie said, swaying from side to side slightly as she sat with her eyes closed and hands over them. "You couldn't walk two steps without running into someone you knew. "We're from somewhere in Virginia, but the town doesn't exist in this world. We checked," Bonnie explained, remembering the awkward trip she had taken with Caroline and Damon way back when she had first arrived.
She managed to shut up for about two seconds to let Elphaba talk and felt herself getting sadder as she heard Elphaba explain her life. She knew her friend's life wasn't the happiest, but it always surprised just how much El hadn't experienced because of her circumstances. "Aw El!" She said, opening her eyes and not realizing she hadn't heard the splash to signal that El had entered the tub. "We're going to fix that for you. You have me now. Me, Galinda, Care, and Elena and...OH SORRY!" She said, shutting her eyes again and clasping her hands over them. "I didn't mean to look!"
